  1. I am interested in the MPG owners achieve, not for costs, but for range. If the 20mpg and 30mpg figures are true then that’s a big difference in the amount of time at the pumps/stops on a journey. I wonder how Lexus chose its mpg/performance ratio. The RX400h is faster than the RX300, and way ahead of the diesel competition. I am a little (but pleasantly) surprised by its performance figures, I would have thought they would have leant a little more to the lower emissions (and higher MPG) side.
  2. Those figures are astonishing. 0-100 is 2.8 sec faster than the Range Rover Sport, 2.5 faster than the Touareg V10 and 0.6 sec faster than the X5 4.4 and Cayenne S. Similar to a Golf GTI and remember that would have been thrashed through the gears to acheave its figure. Okay so its slower than the X5 4.8 and will be left standing by a Cayenne Turbo, but they are a tidy sum more.
  3. This car is moving up my list of possible purchases by the day. I hope to get behind the wheel of one for a test mid-July. I would be interested to know what range you are getting from a tank of petrol. I would be particularly interested to know what Great Dane gets on his drive across Belgium as it is something I have to frequently do. At what speed does the petrol engine generally kick-in? Has anyone experienced problems with pedestrians not hearing the vehicle?
