I had my stutrs regassed by SGS and it works perfectly. Time will show how long... Cost me just 40£ compared to 160£ I would have paid for new OEM struts from Lexus.

As far as I know a remake of the SC is going to come 2008 as a 2009 model. Most probably as a SC460 with the same 380hp engine of the new LS460. Rumors also name a SC500. It should be a full 4-seater convertible, similar to BMW 6er (hardtop though). If so, this will sure add up on the price tag... Good times are coming for sure.

I have an SC with black interior and I would get it again. Of course, the black leather seats tend to get hotter when exposed to sun but I am confident you will accept this downside compared to tan leather which will look quite filthy after a few years (had tan as well - looks nice in the beginning but nothing for the long run, even if you clean regularly). Use a reflecting sun shade on your windshield.

I finally received emblem and mounting bracket I ordered on eBay. Install was quick and easy. Looks really great...cost me 100$ but worth every penny. Nice upgrade to the car... Thanks everyone for helping! I have learned that there are different soarer emblems: a smaller one which is red and a bigger one in chrome. The SC430 in Japan comes with the chrome badge. I have found a seller on eBay who can order emblem and mounting bracket (cost around 100 USD) for me. Regards

Hi As you all know the SC430 is a Toyota Soarer in Japan. I would like to replace my "L" emblem on the front grille with a lion griffin emblem of the Soarer. Where can I get the complete badge for my front grille? I know that one can buy the lion on ebay, but it seems to come without any socket which is needed to mount the emblem to the grille. Can I order the emblem directly at toyota? Thanks a lot

Hi Can someone confirm that the toyota nav DVDs will work in a Lexus (i.e. SC430)? My dealer says no, but here I've read that it is possible... Thanks for your advice. cheers
