Hi Guys I'm looking to coming back into the Lexus fold (used to have a IS300 Sportcross and always regretted selling it) buy getting a 400h There are a few out there for sale 55 plates without the sat nav which are cheaper so i was wondering what spec these are and whats missing? Do they have parking sensors instead of camera assist etc. Thanks Si

Yeah its a Lexus IS 200 Sportscross, I have attached a picture Hi Mate See that is Evans Autos I got my IS300 Sportcross from there a while ago - & am about to sell it Its Black, just had wheels refurbed, near 85k, 2 ownders including me!

Hi mate - just rang to confirm the service price with Lexus Hatfield & surprise surprise its gone up £101 + brake fluid change at £90 - No doubt i would have been hit with it at payment time - wot a laugh.

Hi guys, I need to get a new battery for my IS300 sportcross & i've read on the forum that a dealer battery is a good one to go with because of fitting & size. Problem is my local dealer (Milton Keynes) wants £90.49 fitted - sounds expensive, or am i stuck with it. Any advice chaps? ps. got an 80,000 service quoted as £375 - sound ok? Cheers Sii

Hi chaps Can anyone suggest some brake pads for IS300? After getting the price from my dealer i wondered if i can get eithe A. better quality for the same price, or B. same quality saving on cash! Cheers Si

Update guys! Can't get roofrails for the sportcross from UK Lexus - tried 3 different dealers - no luck & no help!! Can get tem from the links previously posted - would cost, sit down, $900 including shipping to UK. They are genuine Lexus parts apparently too! Need that exchange rate to keep climbing!!!!!!

i would get the rack/bars from thule etc. but i want the rails first instead of clamping directly onto the roof.

I tried with Lexus Milton Keyes - they rekoned there were non available at all. Anyone know any helpful lexus dealers then? MK and Hatfield are near me - & don't even mention Hatfield they are useless at aftersales. Interesting: that's what I'm after. So what happens if there's a Sportcross which has a gentle roll and needs these rails replacing I wonder? Tough luck i imagine - but good question.

Lexus used to do roof rails as an accessory for the sportcross - put them on, then attach roofbars to them. I was trying to get a pair for my sportcross at my last service but Lexus Milton Keynes said they can get them any more. I'm still desperate for a pair - if you have any luck finding them let me know mate! Si

Hi Guys - i dunno if you can help me - or i'm just going mad!! I recently smacked into a few cones (dont ask ) in my IS300 sportcross - snapping off part of the front bumper skin and a few scratches here and there. I put it through insurance (protected no claims is a joy!!) and got Lexus Hatfield to do the work. Now i've got it back a little voice in my head says it looks different. Would there have been a different skin for a 51 sportcross, and they've fitted a 200 skin? Or maybe a face lift skin (if they did a face lift and that would be the only thing available) Cheers guys si (Vanilla IS300 Sportcross Astral Black)
