  1. J4XXS, My IS200 has a similiar problem of random alarm activations. I took it to Lexus who are after £180 to replace the interior movement sensor. They say it cannot be adjusted and must be replaced. Ouch! The way I get around it till cash flow improves is to isolate the interior sensor part of the alarm - as you would if you left an animal in the car (during cool weather). My manual tells me how to do it. Hope this helps
  2. Can anyone help with my alarm problem. My IS200 randomly sets it's alarm off. Is there any way of telling which sensor sets off the alarm (boot, bonnet, doors, interior)? Or has anyone else had a similiar problem? Lexus wants £100 to look into the problem, but if it's something simply, or a common issue, I'd rather not spend this a mount of cash.
  3. I am purely a happy Lexus driver and not associated with the company below at all. But, I've just had three SP 9000 Lexus 'Made in Japan' delivered for £273. I think this was a good deal so though I should let you all know about it. www.tyretraders.com They are currently offering good discounts on the pucka SP 9000 Lexus tyre. Doesn't appear to make any sense to go for an inferior tyre when you can get them at this price. Happy tyre buying!
  4. Has anyone had any experience of using an independent garage to service my IS 200 SE in lincolnshire. As I don't want to spend a fortune at Lexus Nottingham
