  1. some tar and glue remover would probably do the job but a good polish afterwards would be advised
  2. better news than last time i was on decided to get my hands dirty last night. the front bumper on the car is rediculosly easy to remove had it off in 10 min and managed to get the light mot worthy. there is a clip at the bottom of the light at the grille side that was broken which i managed to source from a scrappy then i glued the lug at the top of the light back on and melted the join together with a soildering iron. a small section of the reflector was broken and rattling about inside the light which i managed to get out by removing the bulbs. think i was luky because the outer casing of the lamp is still in tact just a small scratch on it only damage was the reflector. rebuilt it and all the gaps are ok the height adjuster works and the headlamp aim is ok took it to a mot station and they said it would pass no probs so that'll save me a few quid till after crimbo when i can get it fixed properly result! :D O and if anyone hears of a n/s lamp going cheap in the mean time gimmie a shout please
  3. unfortunatly no cctv in the building so the person lacking in driving ability has got away with it again! :tsktsk: asked about and no one has seen anything. also its not a staff only car park there are customers driving in and out all day so i cant even check staff cars to trace who done it. hoping that i can get some form of different lights for it then im not spending more money on the car to make it look the same as it was before. im fed up doin that hopefully i can spend some money making it look a bit different.
  4. not having much luck only had car for 5 months and the last 3 some form of damage has been caused every month. first someone ran a key down the full drivers side of the car which cost a few quid to fix. then 4 days after getting it back i found someone had caved in the passenger door and done a runner. then yesterday i walked past the car in my works car park to find someone has hit the n/s/f and destoyed the headlamp scratched the bumper etc. I dont really want to make a third visit to the bodyshop as i can fit a headlamp myself and ill just polish out the scratches best i can and live with them for now. which brings me onto my point are there angel eye lights available for the 200 yet that doesnt reqire dismantleing the existing lamp? if not then does anyone know where i can pick up a n/s headlamp cheap as Im a bit skint at the moment with paying for the car and bodyshop bills!
