  1. I've just been to pick up my replacement key, cost me £150 but that's just the key, they then told me that they'd done a 'SAFETY CHECK' and that i needed a new Cambelt £300 and new Brake Pads and Disks £??? i didn't ask!! So going to get my key has probably cost me around £550!!!! Needless to say i left my car there as they took me away in an ambulance...
  2. Cost me fiver, what a relief!!!! Just the power steering belt needed tightening!!!!!
  3. Yeah mine looks clear from above and blue from the side. Going to run it up to a garage in a bit to see what they say.
  4. Seems like a recurring theme at the mo- http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...c=37246&hl= http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...c=37202&hl= Taking mine to a garage tomorrow to get it checked out, will let you know what they say. Stu.
  5. Sorry to post alongside Russdx's post, but mine's just started with a problem this morning. My power steering works to an extent but feels juddery and there's an unbearable screeching coming from the engine bay somewhere but i can't pinpoint it exactly. I've checked the reservoir and it's only just under the Max level so i doubt it's that. Starting to get worried now, can anyone offer up some advice? Thanks
  6. Try this link, it'll do it for you for free but don't know how long it'll take because video files are usually pretty large. I've only tried audio and ringtone files but they worked ok. http://media-convert.com/convert/index.php
  7. is this single din or double din? Whats the difference between a single din or a double din?-apart from the obvious there being an extra din!!???? The surface on that adapter looks rough to touch, not smooth like the Lexus dash, how do they look together?
  8. Oh great, nice one- I'm scared to ask how much but how much?? I'll be getting it painted black, really not into the carbon fibre look at all. Thanks.....
  9. I want a new spoiler for my IS200, i've seen a few that i like but i really want this one- http://my.is/forums/showthread.php?t=310568 I can't seem to find it anywhere other than the Lextasy website but they don't deliver outside America. 10. I'm after some Lexus badges to replace my Wolfrace ones that have gone a bit funny, i've found some black ones with the 'L' on ebay but i think they're too big (60mm) has anyone else bought some from anywhere other than Ebay? Thanks...
  11. I'd say £150-£200 upwards, saying that mine cost £300 but i'm made up with it, and a lifetime guarantee with it. I've seen some really duff tints that are cracked and peeling. You get what you pay for!
  12. Cheers lads, all done!!! Just needed to be a bit braver while a was doing it- fiddley pain in the @r$e tho!!
  13. make sure youve done all 4 black plastic clips that are on the lights/bumper/grill aswell as the 1 screw in the middle. slide your hand down the back and pull it off the 4 clips at the bottom. the clips are part of the bumper and are not fiddly. then pull from behind the bumper it will need to flex a little but it is pretty strong. Craig Cheers, i've undone all of the screws but can't seem to work out how to undo the clips!!
  14. I'm scared of breaking something!! Undone the 2 outside screws and lifted them up, undone the middle one and taken it out. Can't get the damn thing out now!! Please Help!!!
  15. Well done fella, any chance you could put in a good word?lol
  16. Good pic !!!!!!!!!!!! None on our Lexus...... I thnk it would look great, might have to have a mess about with mine, nowhere near up to that standard tho!
  17. Some funy photoshopped cars... http://www.worth1000.com/cache/gallery/con...splay=photoshop and http://www.worth1000.com/cache/gallery/con...splay=photoshop Well worth a look!!
  18. Yes mate, just a couple of weeks ago. :D They are the standard -30mm TTE lowering springs. See the thread here. Looks a lot lower than that. Are you happy with it? The last car i had lowered, i was a bit disappointed in the end result. I do want to get mine done beacause it does sit really high but thought of spending out over £700 for the coilovers makes me baulk and i doubt i could ever convince my wife that it's worth forking out for unfortunately.
  19. Have you had your car lowered fella? By how much because it looks more than the -300mm?
  20. White will probably look better as it stands out and catches the eye more. Yeah they probably would, hope they dont get knackered and end up looking rubbish thought with being white.
  21. I've ordered silver and white so i'll have to see which looks best.
  22. Well that it all done, the rain held off but it was flaming windy and cold, glad it's over! Hate painting anyway from walls and woodwork to airfix models as a kid so as you can probably tell i loved doing it (yeh right) but it's done now and it looks miles better, just waiting for my decals to land on my doorstep now.
