The first thing to do is have gas pressure checked
-
You need to have the car code read this will tell you what's wrong with the car
-
You maybe better off trying to find a secondhand engine you never know how much damage has been done to a cooked engine
-
About right although a service won't hurt

Have the engine compression tested that way you will know if the engine is ok internally, also you could check the cat in the exhaust manifold had this problem on a merc once keep coming up with random misfire the cat had broken up and was blocking the exhaust
-
A lot cheaper than new box in the long run
-
Had the same problem bought original from Lexus no more noise not cheap but worth every penny I hate noisy wiper blades I wonder if it's to do with what make windscreen you have I've still got original screen
-
Did you use the proper Lexus oil for there auto boxes

Heard a is200 with a loud back box on it the other day just don't sound right to me , nice and quiet with forced induction under the bonnet this must be possible as my jag is quite and nippy
-
Make sure you change the idler and tensioner as when they wear they make the belt run at a slight angle and it wears out very quickly there has been a few reports on here about it
-
The only thing that has gone wrong is a front shock had a mist of oil so I changed it , the rest has been service items I'm a mechanic by trade and so I have done it all myself . The car still has some original bulbs in it my car has done 76000 miles the one thing I would check is the cam belt even if it's been changed
-
I think they look just right as they are had mine eight years best car I have owned

Don't drop it too far the is200 don't look right i don't think

Nice to see a car brought back from the brink of ruin
-
Passed mot on Friday the guy I was talking to ask me if it had pedals fitted to it as the engine was so quiet the tester must be peddling it , must say when the tester did drive it out I could not hear the engine running. This is my wife's car I have a jag xjr but when I drive Lexus it reminds me what a great car they are

Mines the same wash it off would not worry about that amount of oil

Hi at the back of the ignition switch there will be a wiring loom there will be power in this is usually a thick wire when you turn the key to the start position you should get power at the wire for the starter check this first and this will eliminate the ignition switch it will help if you have someone hold the key in the start position when checking
-
You can make it yourself just google it if you buy antifreeze from Toyota it comes pre mixed so you need to drain the block as well or you will end up with a weak mix
-
First thing to check are you getting a signal from the ignition switch when you turn key to the start position
-
That is bad English you need to rewrite this and get someone to help with your English so we can understand it and give you some advice
-
As title suggests tell us what you did to your car today seen this on other forums and seems popular

Unfortunately the supercharger kits cost more than the car is worth in most cases
