I think the first thing you should do is try another dealer - I've always been a little suspicous of Lexus service centres that "share" with Toyota - are you sure you're getting Lexus qualified technicians?

My GS never smells of petrol.
I get a consistent 26mpg (according to the trip computer) and 99% of my mileage is high speed motorway driving.
I can't believe that a Lexus dealer thinks it's normal for such a quality car to stink of petrol!!

Thanks Jacko
I also dumped the Yoks - didn't like them in all this wet weather. I run Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD2s - magnificent tyres - great in the wet and good wear too. I'm thinking about trying out some Potenza S03s next - I'll let you know how they go.

PS - One of the many reasons I love this car so much is that mine is just about 4 years old, and hs 106,000 miles on it and still looks and drives like new

Thanks - glad I found you!!!
ClubLexus is a good forum but it's very US-oriented - it's nice to know there's something closer to home

I've got them on my GS300 and I'm really pleased with them. Let me know if you'd like a photo (can't promise I'll clean it though!!)
