Does anyone know if there is such a modification for the IS 200 windscreen?

I have seen single arm modifications done on other cars and i think it looks cool

Has any one here got one? Can you post pic's?

I think that the silver membersip is a good idea for beople who will not benefit from gold but still want that little bit extra...

Running slowly all the time, just started earlier this afternoon. HDD is making a slight hissing/whirring noise.

Mmmmm,

If it has recently started to make this noise, you could have a faulty HDD. If the bearings go inside, they start to make all manor of noises.

Not had a problem with rain on the rear window.

Once your on the motorway, it justs runs off.

Make sure you polish it, or even better get some Autoglym glass polish.

Have you tried filling up the windscreen wash to the top?

Think someone commented before that there can be enough in for the windscreen ones to work, but the front ones will stop as they can't get sufficient pressure buildup.

Otherwise you may have a pipe that has come off to one of the headlight jets - is any water leaking from under the car?

I have to pay for the upkeep of my car myself, but the company will pay for oil and fuel as part of the allstar fuel card.

I may buy the oil with the card, and get lexus to do it on my service.

The other option is that you pay £10 and they insure the 220d for you....

Given the situation, they could have waived the £10 - afterall your service will have cost a fortune!

I had it as an option when i had my 40,000 service at worcester.

My car is about to have its 50,000 mile service.

It is an August 2001 IS 200 Sport.

On the 40,000 service Lexus worcester charged me £470.

I felt ripped off, and i am wondering what sort of money the 50,000 service will be, or if it will be better to take it to an independent garage.

Your thoughts please?

Driving home tonight, i hit the headlight wash button. I heard the motor, but no spray. So i investigated further.... The jet comes out about half way from the bumper, and then go back in again, they don't spray. There is windscreen wash in it as the windscreen ones work. Anybody experienced this? What could be wrong?

I've been thinking about painting mine when i change the front discs.

Only i don't knwo what colour would suite my car....
