Steve Tried the procedure, no luck I'm afraid. I have noticed however that in the siren unit the 5 pack AA battery is flat no longer charging. I am going to replace this and try the procedure again. If all else fails do you know how to remove the alarm completley? Or is it just a case of tracing where the alarm is cut in to the loom? Derek

Hi, Sorry about haywire. The situation is that the car battery went flat, after recharging the battery the red security light came on and I can no longer start the car with the key, lock or unlock the car using the remote, the remote is a 2 button type with a lock unlock button and a red panic button.
