Agree with Sagitar, it's comes from the gearbox on manuals
-
Maybe edit the pic to take Kewell out instead....

How do lightweight stack up against OEM when you hit a pothole? :(
-
just a thought, but as you live in Dubai... how often is the air filter changed?
does the GS300 have a MAF sensor? kinda sounds like it's not getting enough air or thinks it's not....and this would also effect the fueling...
-
Why would these not pass an MOT? Surely they are a Right Hand Drive version?
He bought them from the States :winky:
-
Looks very nice :)
how about some night time pics?
-
Instead of H.I.D's ? :o
I'm fairly sure he means ... compliments the HIDS so that all lights are approx same colour, no OEM yellows spoiling the effect...

sure they can sort you out... get your geometry set to suit your springs at the same time...
might be on the limits of your two hour drive though :)

http://www.sewellpartsonline.com/assembly....09&year=157
this any help in identifying your part?
with the IS200/ Altezza there is a lower bushing on the rear that is part of the hub and you have choice to but to replace the whole part...
-
Bet you are loving the better grip from the back end
i too am running IS250 wheels and agree that the extra rubber at the rear has made a marked improvement... have sometimes forgotten that it's rear wheel drive... mine are the 245/45/17 as you couldn't drive 18" in rural Ireland
-
what year did armrests get fitted as standard? or were they an option? leather only?
cheers :)

Hi i go again found another item that people are often looking for.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Dash-Kit-Lexus-IS-20...1QQcmdZViewItem
Ian
just be sure you're ordering a RHD kit ;)
-
safety wise i was once told that you shouldn't put a space saver on the driven wheels, so if you got a rear puncture you'd have to put it on the front and put a front on the back...
anyone confirm if this is correct information or bullpoop??? would be totally impractical
-
Anyone know the size of this small spare in the tezza? Wheel/Tyre profile?
ya it's a 125/70/17 looks daft on the car ....
:)
-
Altezzas come with a space saver spare... maybe find someone to swap with or try a breakers with Altezzas?
-
About bloody time for Toyota to make something interesting again .... ;)
Topgear have the wittiest writers ever.... lol
-
just read this on Auto express..... while Toyota is planning a Celica replacement based on Subaru Impreza running gear.
anybody have more info? sounds exicting B)
-
no problem... got a print out myself last week for the front left suspension... fn pothole :(
handy site sewell as it has most other diagrams too ... one to bookmark for reference
Yup done that mate, I have the IS300 service manual in PDF on the PC, think I got from a link on tezzaworld. It has all the torque settings with the diagrams. If you don't have it let me know and I can e-mail you a copy.
thanks but have it in my info store ;) Have only looked at half of it yet though...
I like to hoard in case i ever need it, as website can disappear...

shoot me if you wish......
lexus is? now i dont mind the I S but when people call it the is (like in a sentence) its very wrong.
arronabbott said ford ka... i dont actually say ka, i always say K A (letters each) which isnt that bad.
But your supposed to pronounce it as "Kaaa" not K and then A, if in doubt listen to the actual car adverts by the company selling it...
what about that new nissan yoke... Quash!t sorry Qashqai, now how the hell are you supposed to pronounce that...
-
what about that ugly french yoke, the "Kangoo" wtf ... lol
-
I think " Golf" is fairly dumb....
subaru "justy" ... a 1.3lt and 4 wheel drive = fairly dumb too
-
Alot of people on Bebo and forums seem happy to share all their details.....
my credit card got maxed out a while back, online betting company in Australia two transactions totalling 7000 in two days and they never copped anything... :o only when i opened my statement 2 weeks later did i see the transactions... i felt ill, honestly i was very very worried ringing the credit card company, card cancelled immediately and new one issued and the rest was all sorted in a few weeks and thankfully i didn't get stung with the bill....
what i don't understand is a year previously i ordered a 100 dollar part for my car from Japan and that transaction set of an alarm somewhere and was held up till they rang me asking did i actually make it...yet 7000 in two days .... and nothing
