dam it you lot have tempted me too much and im gonna have to order a set today !! is there any way of changing the orange lens in the headlght too ???

can any one help before i start spending money on stuff and swapping stuff out ? is the temp controls ment to be like that ??

One of the main reasons I bought this car was cos its RWD and cos it’s a Tezza it got a limited slip diff (LSD) not sure about the IS200 tho I picked it up Friday and Monday and it was raining and it was the first time in a year I arrived at work early and I had the biggest smile on my face. I cant wait till the winter  But again Im coming from a 200SX with 300 BHP and not traction. Driving RWD is all about throttle control you need to be sooth whilst cornering Sudden jabs at the go pedal will make the car lurch and transfer the cars weight form front to back! Usually the car can push and under steer but if keaped planted will beak traction and then in to power over steer. Letting off the throttle quick here and counter steering will cause the car to SNAP back into line but can snap back quick enough to flick out the other way even faster then you will be off :( the trick here is to be smooth on the controls and bring gently with out panicking Again with decelerating smoothly off the juice smoothly and very smoothly on the breaks if you really need to kill some speed Sudden movements here will cause the weight to shift forward and the back to step out (snap over steer) You will need to get the back checked real quick but not to much so it comes back in fast as it will want to flick out the other way even faster then you will be off ! :( :( My only advice is to practice it in varying grip conditions Get on a drift day and learn to control it either that or don’t drive it to fast for the road conditions ! sorry if im telling any of you lot to stuff you know just thought it may help some people keep their cars on the road !

hi i have just got my RS200 have got a some Qs hoping you guys can help ! When i switch the AC on the light sometimes flashes and the cold air will stop. The cold air isn’t ice cold and it could do with re-gassing Would a re-gas cure this or does the flashing light means there’s something more serious wrong with it ? The temp knob is acts like an on/off switch and is not integrated the first 2 clicks are cold and the 3rd and onwards are hot ! Nothing in-between any ideas what’s wrong with this ?? also posted in the Atezza section merlin

only picked it up the weekend so no pics as yet ! but its near totaly standard i think ! however !!!!! errrrr what colour are standard springs (HKS filters are ment to have the worse fitration)

auto bulbs do osram/siverstar 50% brighter ones ! had them in my teggi and were fantastic they were whiter than white ! will be getting them for my Tezza if i dont do the HID thing !

i added sclia gel tapped to the back of the headlight cover on my pops volvo when i took the light apart ! i used the (salt ) little bags that i got out of shoe boxes ect !! the ones that say DO NOT EAT !! :D :D it seemed to work.

Wooo hooo ! I have after a bout a year and a half of waiting I have finally got one ?? It’s a 99 RS200 6 speed manual in platinum ice Just a few questions I would like answering 1. It need new wipers I assume these are the same as the IS200 and any IS200 ones will fit ! 2. Would like to upgrade the head light bulbs possibly to HIDs are they the same as the IS200 too ??? 3. it has a HKS panel filter in there and HKS has ***** filtration where can I get Apexi one ?? seen that one too but wanted one standard as possible ! F1 autos are advertising several on auto trader has any one bought one from them as i have spoken to them previously and wasn’t that impressed with their attitude ! They don’t seem to have time to take proper pic of them and keep on blahing on about whet a big and good operation they are so that they can get a deposit!

i love the one in scotland but its a auto and i want a cluch !! did think about converting an auto but again is major hassels !! :(:(

Well im looking for a fairly standard alteza sxe10 with low ish miles and new as possible But must be a manual would really like a L edition as I want leather but I can change that my self Would like the TRD body kit Would love a QUALITAT model or something similar ! Would want it in blue or charcoal but will settle for silver but not white !! got up to 9K to spend depending on car !

been looking for ages and now getting a bit peed off cos i cant find what im looking for so how hard is it to import one from Ireland ??? and what is involved ?

Only differences i can see there is the front bumper(Legana) and front grille and rear license plate thingy. Is it an AT or MT and is it an AS200 or an RS200? iv been told its an 6 speed manual RS200 so it should have the 4 pot beams engine in the AS200 is the same engine as the IS200 6 pot vvti (am i right ?) so is the bumper a standard toyota one ? and why the different number plate suround ???

hello been looking for a while and have seemed to have found one :) :D up for £7095 its a 1999 with 29k on the clock just landed in the uk will be all sva,ed mot,ed and taxed but im not sure about a few things that look different than others altezza that ive seen does it look right to you guy that know waht your looking at ??? many thanks merlin

as far as i know its only standard on the Z or the L edition and was an option on the normal cars !! its difficult to test but if you jack the rear of the car up in gear and spin one wheel if theres a LSD it shold be quite difficult to spin ! :)

Hi I am soon to embark on the process of getting a RS200 imported via JDI (soon as they find me the car I want) what sort of thing do I need to watch out for when converting the car for use on UK roads ?? Apart for the ESVA witch the importers will take care of I have read some where some times when a car is converted from KPH to MPH can confuse the power steering As the steering weight is speed dependant if this isn’t done properly the steering can be too light The car can think your doing 80 KPH and give you the relevant steering weight But in retrospect you actually doing 80 MPH Also would like to know if the RS200 in Japan have speed limiter if so is it difficult to bypass/remove I hopefully will have the importer remove it if necessary thanks in advance :)

i put stiffer adjustable arb,s on my 200sx they were the same diamiter as the OM ones but thay were solid and the OM ones was hollow !! i haven got a clue about the tezza ones !!
