You should not have any real concerns ref the car as it will still be in warranty but check for corrosion on the wheels, on the rear disc hubs, stone chip damage on the front.

It may be worth disconnecting the Battery and resetting the ECU.

I think the idea is, an £80 fine (reduced to £40 if paid quickly) should ensure more people tax their vehicles.

Although I would prefer the option that Dave has mentioned where tax is added to the cost of fuel.

As for your headlights, there have been a couple of group buys on headlight bulbs recently Zee will be able to give you some contact info and prices. There are a few members using PIAA's and they have nothing but good things to say but the price does put people off.

Just as I was leaving the M1 at J6A (I think) to join the M25 my Origin b2 was alerting me to specs cameras, as I left the M1 I could see the cameras, one to cover each lane. First time I have been warned of these, not sure how many are in the sequence, but take your time down there ;)
