The oil and spark plugs are new, changed about 4 weeks ago

Hi everyone, Just a trivial thing, but every time I start my IS200 on cold engine this really loud ticking noise appears for about two minutes, once the engine warm up is fine. Has anyone had the same problem???? Any help will be gratefull TDA

Thank you to all out there for the help, everything work out OK I toke it to another MOT station and would you believe it pass with not problems, so tomorrow am having words with the other garage and Lexus Coventry whom they told me also I need to change the Cat ( money grabbers), the filter must to been the problem it was choker with dirt, got the new K&N coming tomorrow too and new sparks on the way IK20 Denso I believe are the right choice. Now just to close the matter what is the best grade and make of oil to use at the moment

Hi everyone, Am pretty new on the site but I need some help Urgently. Took my IS 200 SE 1999 for a MOT to my local garage, to my surprise it failed in 2 accounts. Ball joints that is not that costly and CO2 emmisions aka Catalyst converter is not working correctly. But I thought the light on dash board will come on if there is anyting wrong with the Cat, should Ill try another garage to check the emmisions??? The garage can not get one at all at least is from main dealer £566 + VAT + £85 labour, daylight robbery if you ask me, anyway I have seen Prolex-UK does one for under £300 but is anyone had use them before and what is the feedback on them??? please TDA Ps: Also has anyone have a number for Prolex-UK, Thanks in advance for the help :D

Hi All, I needto recondition two Alloys due to a little accident the other day when I try to be a good citizen and pull into a layby to quickly for a Fire engine to go by and damage two alloys quiet badly, did not affect the tyres or balance so far. Thank you Monster-Mat, that is what I was hoping for, you think Lexus Coventry could be the exception to the rest of them out there??? also they give me the I250 for the day, not too bad, gear a little troubled and break a bit greatty/bouncy but the main thing is that there is not edge to the new model, to clean and proper for my tasted. I leave about a mile from a Lexus Dealer and I have to drive by every day 5 or 6 times a day and the only place I see them is in the court yard, but I am taking my IS 200 for service on Monday and I have been offer a IS 250 for the day while my is been pamper :D , happy days for me, I think???

Did you fond problem with the tyre pressure you had problems in July, I only ask because I have the same problem on my rear tyres i keep lossing 2 0r 3 psi??? TDA
