  1. Hi Michael and Everybody, Everyday this seems more and more a Tragicomedy bad movie script... My lawyer will deliver the papers to open the case today, after we try every way to solve this problem in a civilized way, that Lexus dont seem to understand. I hope that Portuguese Courts speed up this process and the winning that I will have here prove to be useful to your cases. I will be posting news as the process keeps moving. I urge you to fill up against Lexus to. We all have to gain in having various legal process running agains the same brand for the same problem. Maybe that way they learn that the customers aren´t so passive and arrogant as they are. Many Luck to us all! Cheers, NF
  2. Hello, Here in Portugal, dispite all the intents of progress, Lexus keeps telling us nothing. We are now preparing the legal case and sending new letters to all the leading offices to notice that we aren´t going to stop. With your help I´m now in position to charge Lexus and force them to examine my car and to make it an evidence that this problem is not a thing to forget or to play. They must stop making us clowns! And I will not stop untill make them pay for the time and pacience that this problem is causing me! I ask you all to do the same as this seems to be the only way we will get this problem settle! We must keep this forum alive and logging our actions in order to learn the best way to push them to the solution of this mistake! This is gone to far! I will keep posting news as they came. Lets wish that I post soon... Best Luck to us all...

  4. Hello, Thanks Mike, and you all in this forum. The expert I hired is going to start working on the car today, I find hard to believe that he is going to get the data that we need from the car. It seems that some instruments record logs of the speed, the gear and some more data, does anyone knows anything about it? I will keep you posted as I have news.   7. Thanks Michael. I has alone fortunatly. As I read this post my hope of winning this case grew, and I hope that this sentence would prove usefull to all. We, in Portugal, say that sometimes there is bad things that come for good, and this accident seems to be one of that, it can prove that this car when faulty like this can be a really deathly dangerous machine. As everyone in this post, I loved the car, and the first thing I told lexus is to give me a 400h and all the story will be forgotten. But that was before I read this post and see that this is a serious and not only in my car problem. I will ask you please to send me all the documents you have proving that Lexus as acknowledge the problem, as the portuguese importer seems that this problem is new to them. My mail is nf@scp.pt I will keep a tight monitor on this post for it can be my best help to win this case and make a mark for us all! Thanks!
  8. Hi all, First of all, thanks to all the people how is spending time and efforts trying to push Lexus into the way they should be from the first place. It is a shame that a company that sells cars (and image) of luxury cannot be at they´re costumers level of demand. I´ve posted and topic with my episode, and my technical problems are very similar to yours but my story ended bad. As you can read in my topic I had a very dramatical accident that drove my RX300 almost to garbage (just not there due to pericial works). You can count me in to all the efforts that you want to make, and please support me, because I´m not here just for a fix, I´m willing to take Lexus to court and demand a full recall of this model as I dont want to drivers get hurt. It couldn´t be a matter of luck not to get hurt like I did. Please continue your efforts as I will keep everyone posted of my followings. My Post
  9. Hi there, I´m a portuguese owner of a RX300 that drove me into a serious accident. I bought the car because I loved the model and I was switching from a sports one, because I had a baby and needed more room. The car was 30.000 kms and boughted from the importer as a Service Car. The car belonged to the family of the owner of the import company here in Portugal. It was in perfect condition. So i tought... About 15 days I had the car and I was in the clouds with it. Perfect... One day, driving in a downhill, very very slowly (about 40/50 km/h), when I reached the end of the desceding, I touched the accelerator pedal very softly... the car blocked for about a second making the rear slide and then it pushed forward with all the force into a low wall... The car crashed frontally and then it rolled down twice and spined once... At that speed is ridiculous how bad the car become... I step out of the car using the top-air. It seems that some others owners had the same problem. The car, in slow speed when the speed pedal is loose, then when steped tends to block and then pushes with force (I think that is when the gear finaly enters). It seems a design transmission problem. I read about this in forums but i thougt that maybe someone can explain me if you have the same problem. I´m runing a law suit against Lexus here in Portugal, as they treated me as bad as I was never treated before by no other car brand. I has almost 3 months waiting for they´re tecnical departament to say: "the car has no problem, the fault is yours, you were in excess speed..." It seems impossible. And they say that the tecnical repport they produce is confidential... Absolutely incredible... Please reply as you know this problem, all help is welcome!
