Where do they get the front lights form? And what would you do if you saw this in your rear view mirror?

The sounds on the official Lexus screen saver are attention grabbing, can we get Mat to make some of his own for us?

Hi AndyF, welcome to the Club. Yes the figures are correct, all 3 models are quoted at 9.5 secs. I didnt buy mine for the speed, i could have saved money and bought something like an MGF. Its the luxury i enjoy. Its quick enough for me. There are members who have turbos and blowers on their cars. Have a look at the many discussions over the performence. Have fun:yes:

Funny place Wiltshire! Bit out on a limb, got some relations there ( er indoors). Go for an old personolised one. Much easier to play around with ( i know its not legal).;)

I bet its a lot better than mine in the SNOW:smilegrin:

Steve- I've just spent 30 mins on the www.lexusfans.com website directing queeries to our site. They have a links page where we could advertise teamlexus, but it may need someone in charge to OK this.:smug:

I hope Matt wont mind if i give you the latest. Lexus Wolverhampton are talking it over with Lexus UK and their own company as to what if anything they can offer us. I think we should still keep our minds open for other locations just in case. Should know more by the end of the week.

I've had a look in two accessories catalogues and the nearest I can find is a roof rack. I think your child might complain!! They do a nice line in Teddy Bears.!!!!!!!!!!!

Tony Goose- the engine problem you describe sounds very similar to the one i and many other owners had with their Corollas, it even made Top Gear last year. You couldnt drive round a roundabout smoothly, if you let your foot off it slowed and if you touched the throttle it sprinted. Toyota said it was "an engine characteristic" and was not a fault. I though it was a pain! Funny how there is a Toyota badge on the engine!!! Makes you think.

Anyone had one fitted? Another owner said you need a special bracket to fit neetly alongside the sterio as there's not a lot of room on the dash. Also reckoned it linked into the hi-fi and cut it off with an incoming call.

Steves' other site is a bit too BRIGHT! Ours is quite cool- yes I also think its quite classy.

Looks like a VW Passat front and an Alfa rear, but whats it like in the snow!:wow:

My story goes thus--my local Toyota dealer offered to get one in April2001, this stretched on into July, then they said September and we went to the local Lexus man and still got a good deal and the car in a week. They warn that the car may not be full UK spec. i.e. no sunshine roof, no heated seats and the alarm/imobiliser may not be UK spec either. Hope you are lucky.
