There is information on here relating to a Australian Turbo charged IS, but most people in the UK seem to go the supercharger way. Click on the link above to TDi and they will help you out.

The aftermarket wheel question is down to personal preferance.
The wheel wax stuff is great, and easy to apply.

We'll Matt looks like you done it again, much bigger right up than the last one.
Can't wait to get home and pick up a copy.
-
What, it's only 6 mths old and cost £23,500 new, I thought they didn't depreciate!
It's done 4000 miles.

Just a wee inquiry for those in the know, how much is my car worth. See sig' below for details.

Welcome to the club, and never worry about asking a question. That's what we are here for!
In answer to your question, it is not nessecary to fit lowering spring, but they do make the 19's look even bigger.
-
If you fit 30mm lowering springs all round the car will still retain it's slightly biased forward stance.
30mm is a good start off; it's the lowest recommended with springs only.
If you want to go lower you will need to get coilovers.
Remember when you lower, that if you want to change your wheels this shall affect things also.
This link will help for that. http://www.teamlexus.co.uk/forums/viewthread.php?tid=320

I need those 3 also, they must be "the ones"!
Have loads of the others, enough for two sets! Wonder if you can win twice.

Give him a big "get well soon" from all!

yeah black cars r a lot of work but they look the best and when you drive at night and the street lights shine down on the car, it looks amazing it makes the lexus look real rugged and mean, more than it looks already:cool:
Toughseal is a coating aplied to your paintwork which fills in all the microscopic roughness on your paint. It is applyed by an aproved retailer and will cost £130-£150.

Only buy a Black car if you like cleaning, I have owned Black cars for a long time and they are really hard work to keep, but the satisfaction you get when they are clean is worth it.
I suggest you try one of those paint protection systems, they cut down on polishing which causes swirls and ultimatly spoils Black paint. I have Toughseal on mine and the car was Blacker after it was applied then when I picked it up from the dealer.

Won't work for me, my wife is pregnant!!
But I had some hand in that situation anyhow!
I hope!

This is mine with aftermarket 19's. I think they make a "huge" difference.
