My washer jets have stopped working
The motor is whirling away with the press of the button and there are no blockages anywhere
I've taken the the pipe off the motor and there is no presure there water just leaks out.
Any ideas?
Is it worth getting a new motor if so, anyone have any idea how much???
and yes before some one says there is water in the bottle :winky:
Def sounds like a new motor, I have never looked in one, but imagine its an impellor on a shaft.
May be the impellor is jammed or come lose/worn off the shaft.
Can it be dismantled to have a look Or is it sealed ?
looks like a sealed unit
arr well new one it is.

Have you flipped that pic or is it an LHD car?
Was it in Notts?
Looks like he's hit the backend of something at some serious speed :o
Found it on a web site from the usa.
Got some more shots looks like it was sandwhiched between something else I thought maybe a truck with a high back.
When i'll put other shots on as well.
There is a brand new gs300 kicking around Notts with the biggest scratch down the side and seen another MK2 gs which pait all over it

Are you having to top up the power steering ? it may be auto trans fluid from the cooler
Yes every couple of weeks.
It could be leaking from the viscous fan joint/bolt which has ps fluid in it, that is on tt i don't know if n/a has a viscous fan
Thats something i'd not thought of thank you
If it stops raining i'll check that out.
-
always upsetting to see something like this!

Great Stuff

Nice Car buddy
I'm a Megs convert great stuff. hard work at first but once you've started the 3rd stage starts to show.
Anyone used the gold coat?? is it worth it?
-
Hi Tony
I know the condenser leaks. my air con is knackered! :tsktsk:
It is power steering fluid because there was a puddle of it in the wind defender when i took it off.
I'm going to jack it up and get under the car but the power steering pump is really clean!! :duh:
I'll let you know what i find. . .
Regards Craig
-
Cheers buddy
I cleaned it all up but still couldn't see where it's leaking from!!! :tsktsk:
Then after a few days it looks like it does in the pictures!!! :tsktsk:
If it's not raining tonight i'll have another go stick it on the ramps.
Thanks again
Regards Craig

BUGGER
No wonder it's cheap!!!
Who didn't read the ad properly.
The Aristo is the one to go for but the t/turbo version.
Drove a Mk2 Gs300 sports yesterday and i prefer the Mk1
So Aristo it is.
Unless Aido wants to sell me his
Going to hang on and test drive a Mk2 Aristo.
Cheers for the feed back guys.
Lexual feeling:- I know some one looking for a Mk1 Gs300 sport i'll let them know about that one.
-
What do you guys think as a second car
My Misses really likes the Lexus so she on about having that which means i can get the Aristo!
What do you think??
It's the Aristo at the bottom.
Honest options please.
It's either something like this and mod it or a later gs300 sport.
Got about 7k to spend.
