Having a strange prob with the lex...wondering if youve got any ideas?

Over the last few months the car has been cutting out mid motion and coming to a rolling stop; this is while its in gear (and also the electrics stay on the whole time)

The odd thing is that it starts after staying switched off for 15 mins...

Today i got it plugged in and its not brought up any error codes or problems in the history.

Id really appreciate any thoughts you have?

usually v-power or tesco 99 and on occasion bp ultimate.....tried esso supreme the other day and its been giving really 'funny' power delivery, wont be using that stuff again!!

mine was £95 and 2/1/2 hrs

...the course was pretty much just sitting in front of a computer an clicking on video clips to assess hazzards - i thought that part was a bit obscure as without being in a car it wasnt very obvious when to start breaking, as you only get a one dimesional perspective!!- it was followed by a lecture about the effects of accidents (no gruesome pics).

...i still gave positive remarks in the feedback - as it does remind you of the basics and i was pleased they offered the alternative.

....they did my car and its quite invisble to begin with but over time you can see a ring where they repaired it (no hole though) -although it might be less obvious with a cream interior.

the problem is that these invisble repairs are usually for used cars being 'touched up' for sale, so its not very permanent for areas that are constantly in use. i also had it done for the fabric on the A-pillar and its looked as new since.

Haha, they'd never work though as there'd be no way to make any money off them!

Speaking of cameras, does anyone know what those cameras that seem to be popping up everywhere recently are? They're white, and there's normally 2 or 3, depending on the number of lanes......kind of look like specs cameras but as they're white I'm guessing they can't be for speeding?

They're actually becoming quite dangerous as people keep heading towards them at speed, seeing them and then slamming on the brakes!

Einstein- im surprised that theyre only offering evidence if you go to court, i would challenge that and try and get as much info and proof it was you before taking further steps - especially since you have some doubt....

If you do receive a letter no need to panic. over 90% of people who argue their case win! Just dont pay without questioning them first. Send a letter back detailing that you were not speeding. Ask for information like, when was the camera last calibrated (i believe this has to be done every 48hours now) who calibrated it. What qualifications they have in calibration etc...ect... there are many sites on this if you have a look. Ive been flashed 4 times now and have argued everytime and won everytime. there is always a loop hole somewhere. like photos always have to be sent with letters now with a clear picture of driver. Few years ago this was not the case and I simply said someone had copied my number plate, and I accounted for where i was when the incident happened. Not enough evidence against me. (this does not work if you have a the body modified-your car stands out)
