I am thinking of lowering the IS, but need so advise on what to get and where to get it done?

I have got some 18" alloys i know that the alloys will fit but they have got 225 45 R18 Tyres on and not sure if they are going to rub with those tyres on. Or should i change them to 225 40 R18?

Can anyone help i have fitted a induction kit, but the pipe that goes across the engine from the throttle body to the filter seems to get alot of heat from the exhaust manifold. Can anyone think of any ideas to reduce the heat as there is no point in having cold air feeds to the filter if it heats up. Anyone with ideas welcome?

as they are standard fitment and no one has really compained about this before i doubt it - unlesss the set he managed to get were dodgy. Well i have checked the tyre pressures, and had another comapny check the tyres and they all seem ok.

Since i have put 4 x Dunlop SP9000 my IS200 it seems all over the place, i have had a four wheel alignment done and still no different. It get worse if is windy and then it seriously a mission to handle the car. Can anyone help or give me some idea about what is causing it?

I have a problem with the throttle body on my IS, when i rev the car the spring on the throttle body moves and makes a rattleing noise. Is there anyone with the same problem and what can i do about it?

i of course assume that you have changed the original head unit or used one of the adaptors from ebay?? I have changed the head unit to a Alpine with a Kenwood Graphic. Also have a 12" Westcoast Sub in a ported box made for the lexus. I just wanted to change the 6x9's because needed more treble.

It sounds like the rattles are coming from the rear shelf, i have pulled them out today and they seem to be installed ok. Is there a bracket that i can buy to fit the original holes in the shelf to make a it a snug fit?

I have just fitted some new Infinity 6x9's and as soon as i put the bass on, all they do is rattle and dont play right. Any ideas on what i can do?

Hi I have just fitted a Induction Kit to my IS and looking to get more air into the area where the filter is. Anyone got any ideas about how i can do this? (I was thinking a IS300 air scoop)

What do you mean by standard ? as lexus dont do standard set in 18'' :o for the is200 oh right well i have seen alot of is200 with the same 18" on Do thay look like mine pic in top left :D yeah thats them, so are they after market rims then? -

Well you wont find this amp in the shops because there was only limited numbers of them avaliable. What does everyone think of Optima Yellow top batteries, are they any good?

Hi I have just bought the car and fitted an alpine HU with Infinity 6x9, Fusion FP1001 3400W amp, and a 2 x westcoast subs. I now have a problem with when ever i pull up to traffic lights the battery light comes on and the battery voltage goes down to about 9V. Can anyone help with what to do?

Well how soon are you going to be selling it and how much would you want for it? £150. It wont be for about a month though as I'm still waiting for an engine to be fitted in my car and get my car back from the garage. Well let me know and i will have it off you. You havent got a induction kit by any chance?
