anyone know what the correct oil pressure an is 200 should be running at. and also if the oil pressures too low and i need a new oil pump what kind of money are these and wheres the best place to buy from?? any help is much appreciated

have mine installed now too but no pics yet.put mine in nice an low. really like the look but car still handles like f all. thought these would cure it cos my other shocks were completely knackered. what else would help firm my car up. sorry for hi-jacking. think the bc sports coilovers are great and gd value for money compared to the likes of tein

I found a diagram before here somewere showing exactly where each sensor is located. but now i cant find it anywhere. dunno where i seen it here. any help would be much appreciated as i want to get this part in soon as. thanks

discovered last nite when looking round the engine bay that the temperature sensor for the radiator was unplugged. the pins in the plug had corroded and so the plug dropped off. therefore the fan wasnt kicking in as the car was getting too warm and the engine was heatng up when idling. this i hope was the cause of the low oil pressure light coming on, because the engine and oil was so warm that the pressure dropped. hopefully will have problem sorted by the weekend

goona start with the fan and make sure its working right first and move on from there. not driving the car at the min because of this. thanks for all the help and info. i'l let use no how i get on, many thanks

well would a faulty oil pump cos the temperature to rise as well? would the fan not kick on and cool the engine

i have noticed that the engine is running hot very recently also but just when idling, cools down when driving again. think ther may be a problem with the fan also but the oil i used was good castrol stuff. and wasnt too cheap! could the rise in engine temperature be causing the oil pressure to drop or rise too much?

was lookin to see if this happened any else sparky. want to leave the car right with whatever i need to do. just wondered did anyone have any helpfull opinions. obviously this is not a common thing because no one else seems til have had this problem

how would i no if the oil pump is on the way out.would any error codes come up or do i just need a good mechanic til go around an have a gd look around

just checked oil level. is fine, nearly up to the top mark. only after a full service.light only really comes on when the car is drove hard and only when idling

this is the red 1 so i take it that means low oil pressure? what would the cause and cure of this be?

recently noticed my oil light coming on intermitently when the car is idling but as soon as i give a rev it goes off, any ideas or help would be much appreciated
