Well if the engineering excellence isn’t enough to convince you then maybe the investment opportunity would be.
New sales price was around £340k, so that’s some nice appreciation.

A few MKIII Capri's sold in 1996 allegedly.

thats what they say, will get another car in for showroom wth red interior then just do a swapout.
Be careful, Some cars have the trim colour on the chassis plate, not sure if Lexus do but if it is there you will have a conflict, which may make it harder to sell if somebody who buys is into details.

Hmmm interesting website, but appears to also include second hand sales which kind of distorts the data.
I looked up the Toyota Supra and it shows those being sold after 2002 when manufacturing stopped.

I've tried poorboys wheel sealant, but doesnt seem to really help.
Also very difficult to get the stuck on dust off. It likes to build into hard scabs that wont budge. Are you sure you’re applying correctly if that is your experience?
I’ve used Poorboys Wheel Sealant on my cars for a number of years now and can always tell the difference once it’s applied. Apply a couple of coats twice a year and it makes the wheels so much easier to clean.

Disc and pad wear is subjective.
No it’s not, there is a wear tolerance for both.

Well that's one feature I would have never have figured out on my own!
That’s what the manual’s for

Really good to hear 😃
I was trying to find your thread a couple of months back to see if there had been any update.

Very nice !
Always liked the look and the 'back to basics' styling of the Viper, but not sure it is something i'd want to live with.
Please keep us updated.

These are the cheapest listing I have seen so far:

All lc wheels are pretty horrible.
Yep agreed, and that is a shame for what really is a stunning looking car. Also some of the interior colours are a bit IMO.
For me it would probably be an RCF because it is actually an F-car and I suspect an LC-F will come at some point, as rumoured.
However the other day I saw pics of this kitted LC which I think looks great, just accentuates that little bit more.

Not sure I would have chosen those wheels myself but is easily changed.

I guess the odd rattle on a 12 year old car, even a Lexus, is to be expected.
Although I suspect it can still be rectified. 😎

I noticed the black one earlier today and does look nice with the grey leather. However does not have TVD which maybe preferred by some.

Bob, is your car actually a third generation IS or really 12yrs old as per your post profile?

What car manufacturer gives free map updates?
Mazda, for the first 3 years

Yep, has been up for a while.
Would prefer a RHD version and a nicer colour interior, but those are not the most significant barriers to me buying one

Shame, it looks like a nice one.
I do like RX7's but not sure I could be dealing with the supposed fragility of them.

Nice RX7, 😎
You still have it?

IS-F, an excellent car. And it doesn’t suffer from some of the issues associated with the RC-F.
Like what ? (curious)

If he would have done 1 more step and compared indicated versus GPS speeds and then reached GPS speed using same "frame counting" method... I woudl be happy enough.
And I'm sure he would have been able to sleep easier knowing he made you happy.

Sorry I really can't remember now. I have actually given up on connected services and even the My Lexus portal as they really are so poor.

Main dealer looks like £491
Both prices are absurd for OEM pads, one just a little less so.
Lexus GSF Purchase
in Lexus F Club - Lexus IS-F / GS-F / RC-F Club

Yes, they are in the same group.
Interestingly I noticed that the GSF is not listed on the used car section of Lexus website tonight. I wonder if this is a change or just the fact they have none for sale at the mo.
