I’m not using the Teyes TPMS app. I’ve disabled the built-in Teyes TPMS app and installed a customised Deelife app to look like Teyes UI. I much prefer the Deelife app. Someone I know got the Teyes TPMS sensors but the Teyes app isn’t as well refined as my modified one.

are your deelife sensors compatible with the stock system or do you have to deal with the dash lights being on due to not having compatible TPMS sensors? Do you have a link to the ones you use?

You have to get android compatible sensors. Either the ugly looking external ones or the OEM looking internal ones. Ofcourse Teyes want you to buy their own one because they bundle that app in and their app only works with their sensors. But I already had internal sensors Deelife brand from before so wasn’t willing to change. I have the battery replaceable version of the Deelife internal sensors with enough service parts to last 50 years lol. By service parts I mean stems, gaskets, washers and screws. But if I was buying new then ofcourse probably makes more sense to get the Teyes sensors for a more seamless integration. Here are some pics of my TPMS

How did you manage to get them to work if the app only works with the teyes sensors?

Hello everyone, I have a question for you @ahmed24, I recently purchased the teyes cc3 2k kit and installed it in my 2006 Lexus is350 with nav and ML. I am having a problem with the controls for the a/c. When I push the physical buttons the little leds don’t light up but the a/c unit changes modes and functions. Also when in the a/c controls app on the unit when I put it hotter or colder the temperature display doesn’t change but the fan goes up and down. Also the a/c does turn on and off but I just have no indication of what the a/c is set at. I was reaching out to try and solve this problem. Everything else is working great and I love the unit. I put the pic from the website the red box on the right I only used two of plugs, the one with a single wire and the one for 06 Lexus. Is that correct? Thanks for any help.spacer.png

I'm not @ahmed24... but it sounds like you do not have the canbus connected or you have the wrong one selected in the software. verify that you have the canbus box connected at both ends and plugged into the correct port on the back of the CC3. If you do then check to make sure you have the correct canbus settings. if you go into the model select in the CC3 canbus app it will show you what settings you need to select.

Also have you turned on A/C information in the factory system menu? https://teyes.com.au/pages/settings-a-c-display

Wireless OBD reader is for a completely different functionality. That OBD reader is to get the funky OBD diagnostics and gauges using the OBD app. However, the loom should have come with a wired OBD connector as part of the loom and that connector is responsible for reading certain car signals from the OBD like door info etc.

ok good to know. i will install the wired OBD connector that came with the unit.

Also in my kit the wire connected to G5 (the reverse trigger) goes from G5 right into the harness/plug that plugs into the canbus adapter. I did disconnect the wire and connect it to the reverse light via the camera harness to get it working. I originally assumed it was a canbus thing because the G5 trigger wire goes directly to the canbus adapter.

The backup cam is NOT triggered by the CANBUS. It's triggered by a physical reverse detection wire which is pin 5 on port G. (G5) pictured below

If your car isn't gong to the reverse camera app when you engage reverse, it could be a setting. But then again, come to think of it you have the 10" system for non nav car? It may be that non-nav car does not have reverse trigger wire. So you may need to see if reverse can be triggered using CANBUS or simply just run a new reverse trigger wire.

In regards to the door info, what year is your car? for the pre 2009 cars this info comes from the OBD connector. Did your harness come with OBD connector?

My car is an 07. I have Teyes wireless Bluetooth OBD reader connected currently I have tested it with an OBD reader program and it seems to read from that... but i still see no door info. Should I use the wired OBD connector instead?

  6. @ahmed24 another question for you.

I noticed that my car doesn't go to the reverse cam when i put my car into reverse and doesn't indicate when my doors are open and stuff.

It does show info from canbus though and it does control my air con, so i know my canbus stuff is wired correctly.

What are your canbus settings? does your unit show your back up cam when you put your car into reverse? does it show when car doors are open and stuff?

Volume knob on the CD changer itself is known as the master volume (The OEM amp volume). When you change that, the system shows a display pop-up saying Car Volume: and the number. The steering wheel volume button then adjusts the Android volume. So what I do is keep my master volume preset to a decent high level. and then keep my android volume at about 4 or 5 and adjust volume using steering wheel.

so there is no way to get them both to control the same volume? i tend to use both depending on how much (or how fast) i want to change the volume

@ahmed24I just installed my CC3 and got canbus all setup. I noticed that when i change the volume with the volume knob that it changes one volume (i'm assuming amp volume?). on the other hand the steering wheel buttons change the head unit volume. Have you found a way to get both the knob and steering wheel buttons to control the same volume (preferably the amp? volume)?

Regardless of 9” or 10”, the can protocol app isn’t actually made by Teyes it’s a third party tool used across many different android head units. Just like the frames and harnesses are also not specifically made by Teyes. All these android head unit companies depend on other companies to make universal harnesses and frames and integration apps for set size head units. That’s why there are so many Chinese versions. Most of them I’ve found to be very poor build quality.

Because the canbus apps are essentially the same, it will be same across both 9 and 10inch versions.

Answering you question, yes there is a independent app for climate. You have to go to an app called vehicle settings then inside that you will see a section called air conditioning. Below are pics taken of this

I have a few more questions if you don't mind (as you seem to know a lot about these). Or if anyone else may know the answers...

Do you know if there is a way to make this app come up when you press the climate control buttons instead of the bottom screen pop up? Or is there a way to put a short cut to this on the main screen? I know its nit picky and won't keep me from ordering the CC3, but Im just curious if its possible.

How does the screen do in super cold whether. It regularly gets to -40C (-40F) here in winter. Will the screen be usable still or will it just glitch out or be too frozen up to use? (i plan to get the 2k screen upgrade as well if that makes a difference)

Also does Teyes ever have any sales? Last thing I want to do is drop this amount of money and 2 weeks later it goes on a big sale or something lol.

  10. Hello,

I'm looking at getting a CC3 for my 07 non nav Is250. Can anyone with the 10" model tell me if there is a standalone climate control app or is it just the bottom screen pop up shown earlier in this thread.

Also in the bottom screen pop up shown earlier in the thread it doesn't seem to have the filter cabin air button. Can anyone tell me if the CC3 has this function for the 10". The 9" for the cars with navi seem to have it but i cant see any indication the 10" has it. (please see attached picture for reference)

  11. You should be able to wire in the Emanage using the MK4 JDM Supras pinouts, as the engine management pins are the same between the JDM Supra and MK1 Aristo, it's when it comes to the trac/gearbox and aircon control it differs.

The JDM Supra ECU will run and drive an Aristo, I know, I've done it. But you loose the trac, ECT and aircon, also will throw the O/D light on.

There has been reported problems with the Emanage and the early MK1 Aristo ECU's though.

    HTH

    what kinda problems???

  12. are the ecu's for the mk4 supra the same as the mk1 aristo ??

i need a pin out for my mk1 aristo and all i can find is 2jz pin outs for mk4 supras

and if they are the same... are the jdm 2jz ecu's the same as the usdm 2jz's? (i don't see why they wouldn't.. except isn't the jdm running map?, and have no egr)

so in short anyone got a pin out of a mk1 aristo? and if not do you know if the mk4 supra 2jz ecu is the same??

  13. Gaz Walker did some work on tyhis...........need shed loads of money.........from what i remember the speedo display needs replacing as it gets all its signals from the gearbox & engine ECU's which dont work without each other (so need replacing) a lot of other electrical stuff needs changing as well...this applied to mark 2 cars 1997-2005

sorry i should have put year its early 90's

    92 to be exact

  14. found one or two references to a getrag 6 speed swap in an aristo.. but couldn't find any info on how to do such a swap or what parts are needed.

anyone have any idea how to go about doing the swap?
