Thanks folks. U used to have a Windows Mobile Blackjack device and never encountered this issue. Its a real shame as i make quite a lot of calls from the car.

Anyone encounting a buzz when making a call on an iPhone 3GS?. e.g. The time between initiating the call and it ringing produces a loud buzz on the speakers. I have an RX400h 55 plate. This did not happen when I tried on a newer LS recently. Anyone else seen this? Anyone have a solution?

Hi DVD's and whats playing on the iPod do not show up on the main screen. The iPod connector will play playlists and what is playing does show up on the LED display. I have a Lexus ipod connector.

Mine is due its 20,000. Can I ask what you paid?

Hi, 1. I believe the 07 maps can be loaded onto older systems. Not sure of the 06 but my 55 has a lower res screen than the newer models, do not expect it to show the maps any more crisper, it will just have better map data. 2. Lexus do an IPOD connector. It sits in the glovebox and is treated like one of the 6 CD's excpets it plays 1000 songs ;-) I have heard there are other non Lexus connectors out there and some say they are better. The one I have was fitted by Lexus as their own.

Just had Lexus fit my iPod adaptor (it was Lexus approved) on my RX400h. £251 fitted though. Do you have a part number. Which lexus dealership fitted it for you. Ipswich. Apparently this was the first they had done.

Hi there, just had Lexus fit the Lexus approved iPod kit (not sure who it is made by). I did have a question, on mine while it shows the Playlist name, it does not show the actual track name being played, e.g. It just displays as 01, 02 etc. Is that how yours is. I have to say when I said I wanted this fitted i was expecting to control this from the main DVD screen rather then the radio LED. Also is the iPod connector for your routed to the glovebox as mine is? Other than that I have been pleased with it. 1000+ of my favourite tracks in the car is great.

Hi Jon thanks for the reply When you say "does it also play DVD in the front?????)." What do you mean by this? It (according to the A4 spec sheet I have) has DVD SATNAV. I assume yours has the reversing camera, European SatNav and the Electric tailgate? Simon

So I am in the process of buying a used RX400h SE with the Muti-Media pack option. The car was registered Feb06. My understanding was when I agreed to buy that the car would basically have everything the SE-L model has except the ICE system which I was fine with. Given the car had the Multi Media pack I was expecting it to have the 11 speaker system. I am now informed by the saleman that the 11 speaker system did not get introduced on the RX400h SE-L (and therfore as an option on the SE) until 6 months ago, despite this being available on the RX300 and RX350. So my question is is this information correct? Is there anyone out there with an RX400h SE-L or and RX400h SE with Media pack option that was registered around the same time as FEB06 that has the 11 speaker sound system? Alternatively does anyone know if this information is correct? I pick the car up Friday and want to know if to kick up a bit of a fuss.

Hi, Just ordered a Lexus Approved RX400h SE with Multimedia Pack. I have asked them to put in a Lexus iPod Integration Kit. A few questions: 1) Where do they put connector that you connect the iPod to. Is it in the center console or Glove box etc. 2) I am assuming (and was assured by Lexus) that I will be bale to control this using the screen i control the satnav with. Is that right. 3) Will this screen show the tracks/artist etc. 4) Anyone got one of these? What is the Sound like? 5) Having done a quick search on the web I cannot find much detail. Anyone got a decent link that show what it will look like installed? Sorry for so many qu's

Hi I am new to the forum. Thanks for all the information I have read to date. After much deliberation I have sold my Boxster and decided to go for a GS, possibly a 450h. I guess I have two concerns that I would appreciate comments on. 1) Looking in the Which Car mag. it states that the residuals on a GS450h after 3 years (or 36000) miles is 40%!!!! An RX350 was 51% while a RX400H was 49%. In comparison I think the BMW 5 Series came in at about 50%. I have to say 40% scared the crap out of me and questions my investiment. I hear alot about how good Lexus is so why such poor residuals? 2) Does anyone have any knowledge on how often the batteries in the Hybrid need replacing. Feels like this would be pricey. Any help much appreciated.
