  1. My car had an Epson diversity tv tuner in it when i got it. Was just under the drivers seat. It wasn't powered but all the wires are there. It runs of the wires from behind the cigarette lighter so i just have to reconnect them. Anyway will this work in Ireland and what type of chanels channels do you get? Cheers, Darren.
  2. Thanks for the replies guys. when iturn my lights on only the bootlid lights come on and the actual tail lights dont. however if i press the brake they all light up. any ideas.
  3. Some bigger pics now. @ Scott: it was the dc2. Yeah the vtec has some kick but the altezza is alot more smooth and is a much better car all round. the integra was a loud, rattley yoke especially on motorways. Handling wise the altezza is much better, feels alot more solid. hard to say but the altezza is faster, i think the integra sounded faster than i taught it was. all in my opinion of course.
  4. Picked up my new motor yesterday evening. Have to say im very happy with it. Definitly prefer it over my old integra Type R. Its absolutly mint. Grade 4, 58k klms, fully serviced and guaranteed. The only mod is a cat back exhaust. Not sure what type it is as the small plate on the backbox is a little scratched from hitting a speed ramp with 5 on board, so all i can see is the last three letters "SMA" with what looks like some serial numbers below. Oh and the little jap that had previously owned it has the lexus is200 badges on the back. not sure wheter to take them off or not. Any way heres some pics, only have the ones off the guys website.
  5. i think it was black, definitly not yellow.
  6. Think I found the car i want. everything is mint only I noticed a wire with small block on it under the passenger seat and its not connected to anything. Should this be right? I dont know if there is one under the drivers seat, i didnt look. I think I remember reading somewhere that the connections are already in place for if you want to swap the seats for electric ones. Is this correct, maybe this is the wire i saw. Thanks, Darren
  7. Cheers for sorting the carzone link. Im gonna go up tomorrow and have nosey around and see what it looks like in the flesh. Thanks for all the replies. :)
  8. Im still looking for an altezza and spotted this one. Any body ever see one of these before. never seen one this colour or seen those seats before. Maybe it was done in Japland or is it some sort of ltd edition or something. Its a 98 rs200. cheers,
  9. Thanks for the replies guys. I think i will forget about those two and look for something else. i dont want really to buy a car that had its clocks changed, i wont know if it the mileage is genuine. A 98 with only 36k klms. It doesnt sound right. And im not sure what the deal is with the lexus so Ill leave that. I think I will just try find a genuine standard altezza with the TRD kit and not much else done to it.
  10. Hi Darren here. i just sold my 96 integra type r and am looking to buy an altezza. They are such a nice car. Any way ive seen a few nice examples but i have seen two that confuse me a bit. one a 00 is badged as a lexus with lexus steering wheel, wheels, etc but it has the rs200 beams engine. And the other one a 98 again has the lexus badges but it has the altezza steering wheel and wheels although speedo/rev cluster is different. it says lexus tte on it instead of altezza and the speed and revs clocks are in the opposite place than most ive seen. Does this sound right or is it just a case of the previous little jap owner sticking badges on and changing stuff. any help would be great. thanks ps: great site
