  1. Happy Birthday museli!

  2. Ok, thanks, I guess I will have to do some investigating...
  3. I dont suppose you know what your emissions were when yours was first imported?
  4. Hi, I made a post recently about the fact that I have to pay £300 a year on my Altezza which was first registered in the UK in June 2007. I contacted DVLA and this was the reply: Thank you for your email. As your vehicle was first registered in the UK after 23/03/06 and it was recorded as having CO2 emissions of 244g/km then it would fall into Band G which is £300 for the year. Regards Miss Layla Lucas www.direct.gov.uk/motoring How many of you have Altezzas registered after this date like mine as I know some of you do? I am not going to quote this site as my source, but I'm not happy I have to pay this ridiculous amount of road tax on a car made in 1999 that does not benefit from any technology that could aid in CO2 reduction, but I am not going to let this drop. So I am going to do some research here and also contact some import companies and find out what they have to say on the matter. Thanks in advance for your input.
  5. Thanks for the replies so far. I have checked the DVLA website and entered my registration in and it came back with taxation £165 for 6 months and £300 for 12 months. It was imported and registered in July 2007, so I am wondering if maybe because it was registered in 2007 and because the co2 levels, it puts it in the highest of the taxation classes post March 2001 when they came into effect. My car was manufactured in 1999, and I would have imagined that this is the date by which it should be taxed... I assume that most of the Altezza owners here had there cars imported and registered post March 2001? Anyway, I have emailed the previous owner and also the DVLA regarding this issue. Hopefully it was a mistake and can be dealt with in due course.
  6. Hello peeps, this will be my first post to these forums. I recently picked up my RS200 which I have learned today from these great forums that it is also a Z edition, so happy with that. Anyway, something I hadn't thought about when doing some research prior to buying my tezza was road tax. I see on the tax disc paid for by the previous owner whom I haven't been able to speak to about it yet, shows that it cost £300 for 12 months. At this stage I am glad I have 10 months left to run, but also makes me think I might sell it on in 12 months time... So, if some of you peeps can enlighten me as to why this might be, I would be extremely grateful. BTW, more questions to follow most probably :winky:
