  1. Too true, I too have appreciated the excellent help offered on this forum! Thanks all, Drammy
  2. Hi all, I have an IS220d as a company car (from the Nottingham branch), however I live in Leeds. Will Lexus Bradford be able to do any work on the car? I want a rattle looking at and the mirror fixing but am not sure if I have to take it to Lexus Nottingham or not... Thanks, Drammy
  3. I can second the starting problem... My IS220d sometimes stutters a lot during start-up and only just catches. A couple of times it has failed to start. Only done 700 miles
  4. Guess I'll be leaving it on then I am sure I get about 5 miles more mpg with it off. Anyway if it means less maintenance I will leave it on permanently. Thanks guys. As for the weather in Leeds, which flags are cracking? The Union Jacks that have been frozen all summer perhaps... :winky:
  5. Hi guys n gals, I have had my IS220d for about 3 weeks now and am enjoying it. I have found recently that if I turn the A/C off my windows steam up straight away. Does anyone else have this problem or does everyone just leave their A/C on? I live in Leeds so no real need for A/C during the winter months (summer months too, this year!) Thanks, Drammy
  6. My car was driven up the M1 for delivery from Nottingham to Leeds and I noticed this run was done at 39 mpg. Since delivery I've done about 230 miles and so far have got 33.8 mpg (excluding the delivery mpg - I reset it), doing town driving only. Not as good as my ol' Superb - I used to get about 54 out of that around town. Still happy with the switch though. Although I am not sure what decision I would have made this time next year when the new Superb is out. Drammy
  7. Thanks for all the suggestions guys, its appreciated. Out of interest, has anyone just sufficed by buying a SatNav module that also handles phone calls? Such as the TomTom 720? Drammy
  8. Thanks, good response GJD! Plenty of info there. £499 - I might have to start saving Thanks, Drammy edit: thanks Einstein
  9. Hi all, New to the forum so hello... I am waiting for delivery of a new 220d (base model in Argento Ice with Worcester Black interior) due to arrive in a week or two. It's a company car and I couldn't afford another model on my budget, but one thing I will miss from my current car is my handsfree cradle (on the road a lot). Is it possible to get one fitted at a dealer? If so, does anyone know how much? Would anyone recommend another alternative as the company will probably only provide me with a Bluetooth earpiece (to be totally honest I think they look crap)? Thanks, Drammy
