  1. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON DIAMONDBRITE. DBrite is nearly 20 years old and made for solvent based paints, your car has the finest acrylic paintwork that money can buy, Dont Trash It. If you are going to get your car treated talk to a guy called stuart grimshaw http://www.splashgroup.co.uk I spoke to him last week and was amazed about some of the paint protection system that are around. By the way he charges £145 all inc Hope this info is ok
  2. Thanks I spoke to a mate today who also has the same car colour, he had a guy come out called *************? and fitted a product called Toughseal for £***** (LexusGold Club Offer). He reckons he has had Supergard and Diamondbrite in the past and they dont even come close to Toughseal, maybe i will see what he says. Well i guess it down to who offers the best deal :D I also spoke to a valeter who applies supergard and he reckons it takes about an hour to apply because its only a wipe on wipe off wax, dont know about 2days to apply it, maybe this is marketing to demand outragaous prices. Editted to remove references to gold discounts
  3. Just got a black is200 and finding very hard to maintain. When I gought it the dealer tried to sell be a product called supagard ;) £299 (ouch) Has anybody used it or can they reccommend another product that may be designed for the IS paintwork and a little better on price ??? Stuart Johnson
  4. Hi All, Just come out of an E class Merc to a new Lexus, why didnt I do it years ago Anyway for what its worth whilst talking about alloys I would like to reccommend a product I bought about 6 months ago. Alloy wax is the product name and I think the company is Toughseal (?), anyway its a PTFE Teflon Polymer that works realy well on stopping brake dust from sticking to the wheels and it does a great job and makes them sooooo easy to clean. Their website was at http://www.alloywheelwax.co.uk I gave the company a call and got a discount of £3 per bottle :D and sent a cheque direct, give it a try they may do the same. Chat soon
