Thanks Ormi! The seal on the fog has completely come off where the bulb clicks in and inside the silver surround of the fog has gone black, think a new one is required? :(

Hey guys, Having a small issue with my drivers side brake light, it basically keeps going on and off with the little warning sign coming on the dash, and now when I put my headlights on I'm now getting the little car with lights on the dash also, I've tried changing the bulb but to no avail, I've noticed when I put the bulb in the little plastic connector its a little loose so I have used electrical tape to wrap around the bulb and connector to keep it in place but after a week or so the warning light comes on the dash again, has anybody had the same issue and knows a fix? Or can you buy a new bulb connector from somewhere??? Also My seal has gone on my passenger side fog light causing bulbs to constantly blow, just checked ebay for any breakers but none on, anybody got a spare????

mine was in July, £458, 24 yrs old, 5 yr NCB, includes courtesy car and legal protection direct line. only went down by £30 from last year tho?

you might be best off sourcing a new/2nd hand bumper from a is200 thats been scrapped? not sure how many there are in mallorca tho?

Hey guys, Just wondering if you can buy lexus paint chip sticks, I have a couple of scratches dotted around the car that need slightly filling in with paint, I t-cut and polish them which dulls them slightly but it feels as though the top layer of paint has come off when I go over them with my fingernail, they just need a slight filling in of paint. Any pointers??

Sorry another car tax thread but thought it would be good to start a new since were getting towards the end of month and the financial year. Received my car tax through today and was expecting £205.00 for 12 months but low and behold £190.00!!!!!!!!! My car is 2000 plate so was registered before the increases!!! But was wondering could my car tax go up before the end of the month with Mr. Browns budget on the 26th March??? Also just wondering what other is200 drivers have recieved for there car tax if yours was registered after 1st March 2001?

Hi there, Sorry to hijack the thread, this has also happend to me but on my rear caliper, the top stud looks to have snapped as the brake pad is can be slighty moved in the ca,liper and causing a clapping noise when I brake, you can also hear it rattling when driving, any ideas if i can buy a new stud or if I need a full new caliper. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers

Hi mate thanks for the reply, after inspecting the calipers its looks as though the pin hole is broken on rear passenger caliper so its not holding the pads in place well and causing the rattling hwen driving, will I need a new caliper if so do you know how much cost is?

Hey guys, Had my discs n pads done about 8 months ago, recently I have heard a loud clasping noise as I'm braking, it only seems to happen when I'm breaking at slow speeds its like a loud clap from under the car, also when I'm braking with the wheels turned again theres a 1 knocking noise and clasping again and I can feel it through the brake pedal,doesnt sound very healthy, when driving at normal speeds I can hear a rattling all around my car like the pads are loose in my calipers? I got mintex discs and just some oem pads from ebay could cheap pads be the problem? any help would appreciated. Cheers

Hey guys, got an little issue with one of my locking wheel nuts upon trying to tighten it yesterday I have tapered one of threads! I managed to get the damn thing off the wheel and put another normal nut on, it looks as though 2 of the 3 holes in the screw have cracked and warped so now I have 1 wheel with no locking wheel nut! I dont want to buy a new set of locking nuts, lexus qouted £40+vat! has anybody got spare set or know of anywhere where I can get a set? Cheers

hey guys yeh I have installed all drivers and its on the correct com port but trys to connect then says no hardware interface? I have tried with engine running, just ignition on but still no luck???

Hey guys, got my self a obd 2 reader off ebay and downloaded scantool but I cant get any readings it just keeps saying no hardware interface?The power light is on the reader itself but nothing else is happening on screen? I'm using scantool should I use something else? any help would be much appreicated.

just checked the connections on my mine and they look fine, how do I replace the fuse wire under lighter is it on the 2 prong connections or the 1 prong connection? do I just swap it for another bit of wire?

Auto mate, I've seen the 2 caps on each side of the console just near the bottom of the seat but cant get the caps off to access the screw is this corret?
