  1. Sorry to dig up an old thread, but my question seemed to fit here rather than start a new one.

I recently got a 2003 GS430 Sport and the sat nav software, which I think is a 2002 revision, doesn't have a postcode search, which makes it pretty useless in certain situations. Does more recent software for this car have a postcode search?

Nope, postcode search is only on the mk3 GS, I got a 2007 disc for my old GS and nothing changed other than the roads

  2. i had a problem like this Chris when i first brought my IS, and found out the boot light was staying on with the boot lid closed and the only way i found out was when i was in the backseat of my car with the ski hatch open and i could see it on with the boot lid closed? might be worth checking mate as its only a small drain but does drain the battery over a short period?

I thought this may have been happening on my dads old car, it was a saloon and the only way to check was to get in the boot and shut it, I left him in there for 2 mins, pretended it wouldn't open. He he

  3. Ok, I'll admit, I absolutely love the Aygo's. I've so nearly bought one twice - just for fun. The ting I love about them is this. When I was 17, it simply didn't matter about what gadgets my car had - leather seats, ESP, EBL and so on. What mattered was it was my car and I loved it. Over the past 10 years, I've changed - I now look for all the acronyms before buying a car - none of which I actually understand. The great thing about the Aygo, is when you drive it, it takes you back to being 17 again - it just doesn't matter what it's got (or hasn't got is probably more appropriate!) because it's just a huge giggle and every time I've driven one I've got out with a massive smile on my face - something that no Lexus, Jaguar or Volvo has ever/will ever give me.

    You'll be thrilled with it.

Sounds exactly like when I used to have a Corsa years ago, was like a go-cart, used to have loads of fun chucking it around.

  4. I didn't really propose properly, we had been together for ages and always said we would get married once we could afford a house together, once we got house plans sorted, we started on the wedding plans. Although I did go down on one knee just for the sake of it, even though we had already made bookings etc
