Does anybody actually know the legal position of aftermarket HID kits? Also do they count as a modification ... ie do you have to tell your insurer? Finally, are they hard to fit? Cheers!

Morning, I've just been surfifng the lexus.co.uk website, and was playing around with the comparison tool. I tried comparing the IS200 Sport with the IS300 (compare). I was amused by the fact the IS200 is better than the IS300 because it has halogen not HID headlights!! If Lexus really believe this, then why did they bother putting HID's in the IS300!? If like me, your too hot to work today try comparing the Lexus LS430 with the Fiat Siecento Mia LS430 vs. Siecento I'm surprised that they actually list the differences, they could have just just said "One is a car and the other is a motorised roller skate". More information on the great yellow lexus hunt.. Cd Bramall displayed their yellow Is at the Great Yorkshire show on the 8, 9, 10th July. Lexus Cardiff had one sat outside their showroom on Thursday I was told that there were only 50 in the country - are there really that many dealerships?

I was at the local Lexus dealership this afternoon - (dreaming of the day I buy a lovely IS B) ) and the centre manager said that the all-new IS is due out in 2006. I mentioned the things I'd heard on here about 2005 - and he said it may be released for sept 05, but didn't seem too confident. Anyway suppose I better get back to searching for a bargain!

I've had the same sort of thing on mine. I fixed it by formatting and installing XP instead (just becasue it felt better to spend the time upgrading instead of just installing!) However my point... is download the latest Dell Bios/drivers. Its easy enough as the service tag on the bottom of your machine can be used to determine what you need. I've heard this story before.... and I personally don't believe it. The two holes should always show gray metal behind them - if they appear dark, or have locks showing, its an indication that the speed camera has not been closed properly. If you pass a camera everyday and it changes from grey to dark (or vice versa) - its a good indication that its been opened - either for a film change, camera (de)installation or turned around and then not closed properly. If you don't believe me, have a look at one of those lovely gatso's - see if there is a lense behind the upper glass plate and then go round the back and look at the holes! And while we are on the topic of speed camera's - anybody know how to fix a TSS Laser500 device? TSS Site - no images though! TSS quote £140+ to repair ..... its not worth that just for a play
