  1. Hi Steve thanks for the reply. The pressure cap has been replaced The dealer can't find anything wrong but as you quite rightly point out it has to be going somewhere and it is definitely dropping Colin
  2. Hi all Hope you can help! I've had a dropping coolant level (even after the dealer has topped it up ) Been like this for over a year had it pressure checked by dealer about 3 times ( including at service) It's done this before and after I had the timing belt and water pump changed Any advice would be great thanks colin
  3. Too late for me I've just bought another lexus extended warranty. My cars 9 years old with 88k miles. Wasn't going to but after a bit of arguing they paid for a wheel bearing earlier this year.
  4. Update! Great news the warranty company have agreed to pay after some cajoling from my self and my dealer
  5. Guys spoke to official Lexus warranty provider. Interestingly not only Lexus. But other marques like BMW vauxhall etc. anyway they've told me to get garage to resubmit claim for bearing. Fingers crossed!
  6. Evening, my Lexus dealer gave me a quote of £608 for timing belt kit, water pump change. Is this good? My car is Ls 430 on 05 plate
  7. Update-£418 for bearing near side replacement. Warranty claim rejected Lexus customer relations basically sorry I'm disappointed but can't help. Bugger
  8. Interestingly enough Spoke to a service guy I know from another garage and he said that if its a mon serviceable item and its covered in the warranty then it should be covered as whenever they fail be it high or low mileages it's wear and tear. Thoughts!!!

  11. Dear all I need some advice pls. My Lexus 430 needs new front driver side wheel bearing and my Lexus garage put in a claim on my warranty(Lexus ) which was rejected due to wear and tear. Has anyone else had this issue? £450 is the quote I've been given

  13. It is apparently the plastic cover over the engine. To be fair the vibration has gone now they have packed? The cover
  14. Hi it was a Lexus garage that actioned it. Shortly after they done it I had to go back in for something else (tpms light came on)and got them to double check the level

  17. Hi. Your shout about engine mounts might be close. I've been on this and other forums and the symptoms are the same, the only thing throwing me is it stops when I switch the heating/ac off
  18. Spark plugs just been done. Car been serviced at Lexus 1k miles ago. Interested at the engine mount. Will take into Lexus and check If it was would it not do it all the time even in neutral
