  1. will be changing mine this year too i'm not paying 400+ for road tax and fed up with 23 miles per gallon at current fuel prices and it will only get worse.

would love to buy another lexus but the choices are very few

    is250 another £400+ and 30ish mpg

is220 cheaper tax but not comparable mpg with other makes not that i would but could buy a 3 litre diesel bmw and pay less tax and get better mpg

don't know what to buy come on lexus catch up with the competition.

  2. this has happened to me a couple of times .

i've tried various things what seems to resolve it is by locking and unlocking the car

so i'm guessing i may have pressed the lock button whilst getting into the car and in doing so have turned the immobiliser on

it starts on the button after doing this

    hope this helps you

  3. after further driving it appears i had slightly bent the front hub also.

and the wheel bearing is grinding a little so looks like i have to replace that also

does anyone have one or any idea what it would cost from lexus? as not had chance to call them yet

  4. 24 is correct increasing to 28 next year

The Government plans to increase the annual leave entitlement from 4.8 weeks to 5.6 weeks from 1 April 2009. If you work a five-day week, your holiday entitlement will increase from 24 days to 28 days (pro rata for part-time staff). If you already get 5.6 weeks' leave, your leave entitlement will not change

  5. As probably everyone else on here.

we feel we pay too much tax and NI.

what i can't understand maybe someone can answer for me. at my place of work over the last few years we've had contract cleaners from all over the world , many not from the eu.

i have known of instances of plastic surgery , ivf treatment etc etc. being done in nhs hospitals at the end of the treatment they walk away from the hospital and have not paid a penny.

i may be speaking out of turn but i'm sure the nhs could do a far better job if it didn't have to treat the world for free.
