  1. 540kms of highway driving or approx 400kms of urban commuting. Pretty happy with that really, esp seeing as the car is lightly modified now :)
  2. Powerwise, I'm getting 400hp+ Some mods I've done that may contribute - SARD cat, Questpower downpipe (gives boost creep though), TOMS Ecu. I've seen rolling road charts from Japan, 1.1bar, 411hp on Aristo with exhaust/ecu/filter. Cheers Yoshi, yeah I was thinking of getting the SARD cat. Is it physically larger piping or just a higher flowing "honeycomb"? What does your boost creep up to? The exhaust and Fcon arrive next week but the intercooler is held up...........i'll post up dyno sheets once I have them so you can give me some feedback. Will be tuning on 98+ octane Bio ethanol which seems to give about 30kws more on a 400kw GTR so im expecting it to work very well on the Aristo too :)
  3. I bet it sounds nasty when its on boost! Did you get any pics of the front pipe section prior to installation? Did you keep the de-cat pipe less than 3 inches diameter to prevent the dreaded boost spikes they can (reportedly) cause? You mention a 4 inch down pipe but I would of thought there wasnt enough space! Cheers :)
  4. Thanks for the welcome guys and Scorps01 i'll be sure to chat to that bloke on the Aussie forums! :) I'm really excited about seeing how the Aristo responds to some sensible mods. Do they use the same fuel pump as the RZ Supra or do they use a smaller unit? As far as I know its a factory special edition produced by "Netz Toyota" in Japan. Not sure how many were built but they all came in that colour with the TTE grille, Borbet/TTE wheels, Bilstein/Eibach coilovers, TTE bodykit, TTE black walnut trim, TRD brake kit and TTE/Remus rear mufflers. At the end of the day its not much different to a Vertex addition V300........I would of been happy with either but I do like the subtle TTE looks. Found these pics on another forum........looks like pics from the factory sales brochure?? There's a box with "Toyota Aristo TTE version" printed on it in the boot. Has the C-spanners for the coilovers and the centre cap removal tool in it.
  5. Hi guys, Im new to your forum and have recently purchased this beautiful limited edition Aristo TTE version. I've ordered a few parts and am trying to make 380bhp @ the hubs (I only have access to a Dynapak hub dyno) from the stock turbo's and fuel system running 1.2 bar maximum boost. My tuner had another Mk2 make 360hp @ the hubs a few months back with similar modifications and ECU. Is it possible or am I dreaming? I've read many posts from the likes of Yoshi and others who own powerful TT Aristo's and they seem to be making that power or more from the standard turbo's. Parts due to arrive within the next 4 weeks to help me achieve my goal: FGK Super R 76mm exhaust system HKS Type S Intercooler Blitz induction kit HKS F Con IS ECU and Aristo specific harness. My parts tuner is getting HKS to pre-programme the ECU before its sent out to NZ so it has a good base tune with fuel, ignition and boost all mapped. We will adjust these settings on the dyno as we will be tuning on 99 octane Bio-ethanol fuel. I'll keep you guys posted on results...........unfortunately the exhaust is on back order, otherwise i'd have her on the dyno within 10 days. Really keen to hear your suggestions, theories and experiences too :) Have any of you used the F con V-Pro or F con IS on your Aristo's? Thanks and congrats on your excellent forum. Andy
