Hi all, had the car dyno'd/checked out at tuning japanese in Aldershot yesterday and after sorting out the dump valve adjustments and ECU reset the power run showed 303 BHP with 0.9 Bar boost pressure. Quite pleasing at such a low boost. After xmas looking at digital boost controller to operate the waste gates under manual control...question is, are the stock turbo's ceramic?...if so, will have to upgrade blowers before upping the boost. Anyway, looking at a moderate 50HP increase so should be safely running 350ish in the new year.....or if the wife loosens the purse strings might go full hog 400HP with FMIC/ECU work. Anyone had experience with decent power increases?

Hi all...wrt my interior lights not coming on when you open any of the doors, i've found that if you open the door with the key, the interior lights come on (stay on for a preset time on a timer) but they dont come on when I lock/unlock with the remote? This is puzzling, am I missing something?...Also I removed the fuse in the passenger kick panel marked as 'DOOR FR' (I think) and the passenger door didnt lock with central locking but the courtesy lights come on with the door opening/closing. Electrical gremlins!!! Any ideas anyone?...or could it be something to do with my aftermarket alarm/immob remote?

you better believe it, tried turtle wax chrome cleaner but it hardly touches them so elbow grease n duraglit metal polish and keeping it dry..lol

BPU's include induction, full custom exhaust, SARD R2D2 dump valve, front strut brace, fully adjustable shocks lowered all round with Volk racing 19" rims 235/35/19 front 265/30/19 rear. Front discs grooved/cross drilled with greenstuff pads all round. Better than my soarer tt I used to own and certainly more comfy than my Pulsar GTi-R I used to drive.

I've got a sard BOV straight to atmosphere....could this be a problem?...sometimes she goes like a rocket and others is lacking boost???...but the BOV still gives a healthy whooosh on lift off and thats why I suspected the BOV...but how do I adjust it?? - SARD R2D2 And also, under slight lift off it chatters....is this compressor surge??? cos last thig I want is shelling out on new blowers

Recently I have noticed on my V300 vertex that while squeezing the accelerator pedal, I get an initial spped up but then the more I press I seem to get a lot what sounds like a lot of induction noise (induction kit fitted) but severe lack of boost pressure/acceleration?...but it doesnt happen all the time, sometimes the induction noise stops and the car picks up like it should....I have a dump valve fitted and wondered if this could be dumping or not closing fully all the time venting the boost air instead of allowing it into the inlet manifold. Or could it be a blocked intercooler?...or maybe faulty plugs/coil pack?...there is no warning lights up on the dash and when on the motorway, its really annoying as I have to press 3/4 accelerator and jump down sometimes 2 gears to overtake....when the car is on boost its totally awesome!!. The only mods it has is custom exhausts/induction cone/dump valve/adjustable springs + shocks lowered all round on 19 inch volk racing split rims so looks the dogs doo-dahs!! any help much appreciated ta

Does any1 know if its possible to get the satnav working/converted to uk spec? If so, where n how much? I've got the standard touchscreen/toyota changer with a toxic 1000W amp driving the sub and standard amp in the boot, it all works fine n happy with that. Only need a band expander n would be nice to get the satnav/tv working for audio/visual perfection. Any help on this would be massively appreciated. By the way, are there any meets planned over the festive season?? Am on the south coast btw..

hi,just back home and checked my replies, where are the fuses for the interior lights/door switches? Havent had a chance to look at anything at all yet so excuse my ignorance. Also I have to touch screen fitted, is it possible to fit a band expander so I can get decent radio frequencies?...My auto elec reckons there is no aerial plugs on the back of the screen?

As a pre soarer tt owner I have recently got hold of a Aristo V300 Vertex. Immaculate, light mods inc induction/exhaust/dump valve/struts/adjustable shocks and lowered all round sitting on split rim volk racing alloys with 265/30/19 rear and 235/35/19 front. A real looker and very rare. I hope to post some pictures soon but have the dreaded interior light prob...namely they dont work when the doors are opened. I know its sensor/switch somewhere in the lock mechanism but has anyone had a go at it yet? Any help will be appreciated
