  1. Very lucky indeed, I had checked the oil earlier and had dropped the bonnet to close it as usual, and thought it was latched, obviously not. Luckily I was on a dual carridge way and there was no other traffic close, and was able to pull stright over just very shaken. Just need another bonnet now, windscreen being replced tomorrow. Darren
  2. Hi I need a bonnet preferably in black, if anybody has or knows of one for sale, as mine opened at 60 mph whilst I was driving today, :tsktsk: Windscreen and bonnet smashed and small dent on the frepont of the roof (hopefully will push out) Not a happy chappy Cheers Darren
  3. Hi I am buying a new set of tyres and would like some recomendations please... I have looked on Camskill and have seen these; GOODYEAR TYRES / CAR / GOODYEAR EAGLE F1 ASYMMETRIC - 215/45R17 91Y XL TOYO TYRES / CAR / TOYO T1R PROXES TOYO T1 R - 215/45R17 91W XL AVON TYRES / CAR / AVON ZV3 AVON ZV 3 - 215/45R17 91W XL TOYO TYRES / CAR / TOYO PROXES 4 TOYO PX4 - 215/45R17 91W XL I dont really want to spend more than £90 a corner so any suggestions welcome (about the tyres that is) would look at other types as well. Thanks in advance Darren
  4. Hi I had a Vistron 32" and was going to use it in the bedroom, but as I bought a Panasonic 52" (Full HD) plasma for down stairs I put our old 42" in there instead. I can tell you the picture was ok on the Vistron, but it was a very cheaply made unit with a very poor remote, I sold the Vistron on ebay a month later and had an email from the person who bought it 3 weeks later saying it would not hold its stations in tune, and wanted the warrenty details from where I bought it from. I have sinse seen on the web this is a common fault on them. In the end as with the other guys above go for a brand name, they look better and in general will last longer as well. Oh ands as for my new Panasonic, If you want a TV that will amaze you I can without a doubt recomend them the picture is fantastic, (even the wife is impressed) ;) Cheers Dazza
  5. Looks like its a Rotex Charger; http://www.tdi-plc.com/catalog/index.php?c...197_214_384_388 http://www.tdi-plc.com/catalog/product_inf...oducts_id=14654 Stage 7 upgrade: Supercharger TTE Supercharger for £2200.00, fitted for £2,800~£3,100 depending on each individual vehicle. Usually, the newer the vehicle the less time (and hence money) the kit takes to fit. Adding 32% more power, and 27% more torque to the IS200, the bolt-on supercharger kit will transform the baby Lexus into the car it should have been. Please call for more details. Stage 1 supercharger system; Boost upgrade (0.5 bar), exhaust manifold, Camcon, ecu upgrade, larger fuel injectors. Stage 2 supercharger system; Boost upgrade (0.7 bar), de-cat pipe, 02 simulator, exhaust centre section, high capacity intercooler, forged pistons, forged connecting rods. Not to shabby on the price As good as a TTe Charger? (a Lot Cheaper) Dazza
  6. Ah got ya, :iraqi-info-minister: So realisticaly then, I need to get 5mm taken off the inside by a machine shop yes Cheers Dazza
  7. Hi thanks for the info, I have re-read the info from the pinned guides once again. So I am I right in thinking that if I can get some 3-5mm spacers this would increase the offset and then it would be ok to run 235. 35. 19?? Cheers Dazza
  8. Hi Bought some 19" wheels see below, for my IS200 so what size tyres will I need? 235/35/19 or 225/35/19, other??? I am looking at Falken 452's or Avon ZZ3's anyone prefer one over the other? My wheels sizes are ET40 8J X 19 PCD 114.3 will these wheels be ok or will I need Spacers? Should be sweet when get the tyres and fit them next week when I get back from Sudan.... :winky: Oh yes Thuraya DSL :tsktsk: Cheers Dazza
  9. Right guys possibly silly question time... I know anything is possible in theory but and its a big BUT, so here goes; How feesable is it ot use superchargers of other cars, especialy as I see you can pick up Mini Cooper S ones very reasonable. So apart from the charger itself and a homemade bracket for it, Pipe work, intercooler and belt, what type of ECU would be possible for it. Also anything else Ive missed shout up. But as I said the big question is would it work on my IS200? Any advice much appreciated Cheers Dazza
  10. Madness For her wedding, Camilla bought new shoes, which got increasingly?tighter? as the day went on.That night, when the festivities were finally over and they retired to their room, she flopped on the bed?and said, 'Charles, darling, please remove my shoes, my feet are killing me!' Her ever-obedient Prince of Wales attacked her right shoe with vigour, but it would not budge. 'Harder!' yelled Camilla. 'Harder!' Charles shouted back, 'I'm trying, darling! But it's just so bloody tight!' 'Come on! Give it all you've got!' she cried. Finally, when it released, Charles let out a big groan and Camilla exclaimed, 'There! Oh, God, that feels so good!' In their bedroom next door, the Queen said to Prince Phillip, 'See? I told you with a face like that, she was still a virgin!' Meanwhile, as Charles tried to remove her left shoe, he cried, 'Oh God, darling! This one's even tighter!!!' At which Prince Phillip said to the Queen, 'That's my boy: once a Navy man, always a Navy man!'
