Thanks i do not have the sat nav so ill folow ur instructions
  2. On the Subject of the factory supplied stereo/ Cd how do you get access to the unit Mine is now constantly trying to load a CD every time the my car starts. Not that it gets used as I have the Err 3 code on the CD and use a Ipod transmitter but the constant whir is starting to drive me nuts
  3. Thanks very much for advice. Ill check the connections. regards Tickety
  4. My car was getting close to the 100,000 mile mark and I gave it a mega service, all filters and belts regardless of age. I bought this car with 78,000 on it and it had not seen a dealership from 30,000, local mechanics had serviced it at less than regular intervals. I just like to have a level playing field and know that all is well. The car is know running like a dream apart from the fuel sensor thing. I was getting around 300 -340 miles on a tank now its up to 350-400 and I do push the girl on a bit. tickety
  5. Hi to you all, just joined the LOC. Was wondering if any owners have had problems with fuel tank sensor. I have just changed the fuel filter, which was fun, and for some reason my fuel gauge only reads 3/4 full even when the car is fuelled up to brim. Do you have to reset the sensor in some way after changing this filter?? Tickety
