  1. ermmm unfortunatly I dont think theres a prize for the person that comes up with the best name as I aint got anything worth giving away but I could always put a thank you or some kinda copyright on the website for whoever thinks of the name I end up using. Remember this is for a massive uni assignment so keep it realistic please. Imagine urself in my position lol...what would you call it if u were making a website for a uni assignment?

  2. As part of my degree which I finish by the end of may, one of the modules requires me to develop a website for a client. My client is my other half and wants a website about healthy eating and nutrition but I'm struggling on deciding on a name so need help. I had thought of calling it "you are what you eat" but after a quick search found that theres already a site by that name so need another name now...

Need to decide on a name today so all input will be considered!

  3. hmm now this thread has got me interested...my spare wheel is corroded really badly so basically with one of these kits would it be possible to polish it? how big a job/difficult would it be?

aztec have u tried this kit mate?...

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Imops-11pc-Alloy-Whe...A1%7C240%3A1318

I'd use that kit for the more detailed items mate, the kit that Asi and myself use has the wheel mops, which are probably more suited to the job your thinking of doing? :)

Is it a difficult job tho mate polishing up the wheels? Whats the chance in me damaging the wheel itself?

  4. I'm with direct line. Had loads of problems trying to get insurance towards the end of fed as some of u may know but eventually got insured for £942 fully comp. I'm 26 btw but only turned 26 on 17th march so woulda probably got my insurance cheaper if I coulda started it after my birthday.

Remember tho everyone, the area u live in also affects ur insurance a great deal.

  5. now this is weird. I had a real panic with my car just before I put it on the road. While I was getting it all ready and cleaning it out so it was nice and fresh when I put it on the road I noticed that the passenger side footwell carpet was wet but it was on the far left of the carpet. This dried out with me putting the heating on and I aint had the issue since but it really **** me up as I thought it was the matrix. Anyway, when it came to me starting my ICE install and I got to removing the standard amp so I could connect the bypass lead up I noticed that the amp has got loads of what looks like corrosion on it. Its like a white substance on the heatsink, which I think is defo corrosion and looks like somehow somewhere along the lines water has got into the car but I still aint tracked this down or figured anything out or seen any water. Could someone shed some light on this maybe as its still really bugging me?

  6. my TRC OFF light has been flashing for quite some time now. I mentioned it in another thread but it hasnt bothered me really. Had my mechanic read the codes off the car but funnily enough everything came up fine. No error codes were read at all. When the car is turned off the error goes away but then when ur driving and reach near 30mph the light starts flashing and will continue to flash until the engine is turned off. My mechanic said that its probably a sensor as well but the thing thats confusing me is that how do I know which sensor it is coz i'm guessing theres 4 sensors, one for each wheel? Is there any way to check which sensor is faulty?

  7. I recently replaced my standard unit with my unit that I had in the civic but forgot to sort the aerial and splice into that cable but whats got me confused is that if the aerial is amplified already then why do we need to splice into it as the original units work fine and the aerial just plugs into the back of them like it does an aftermarket unit.

  8. I am sooooo jealous! Patrick your car is sooo beautiful and coming along amazingly well. The bumper looks spot on and u'd never think it was a replica as for the bonnet thats so tasty and looks amazing on the car and even better with the colour scheme continued. Whats your plans after the whole black/silver colour scheme with the bonnet/bumper etc?

  9. read this the other day on pistonheads....wonder how much of the article is true tho. with the current economic climate etc, if they do launch the car..finally..in october then it could a be a massive step for the toyota/lexus but they will need an extremely good marketing strategy in order to make people part with their money for it in the current climate. Granted it is an amazing car which funnily enough the headlights remind me of aston martins IIRC but it will have to really give the GTR a run for its money to be able to compete successfully and "if" the engine is apparently a re tuned V10 from the forumula one cars then that would mean its a high revving NA engine...oooh..honda wont like that lol...anyway, fingers crossed it gets released and hope they dont make too many alterations to the styling for the final version either.

  10. I'd recommend a civic all day long but depends how old a car ur after. I've had my civic for 5 years now and its been an amazing car without any issues but unfortunatly is up for sale now as I've got the lex on the road. I'm sure u'll be able to get a newer shape civic for a good price
