Hi folks,
I need some help. The dreaded engine management light has recently come on it to local Lexus dealer who very kindly without charge hooked it on the diagnostics and informed me it is the cat,but to see how it goes as they had reset the ecu. After a few weeks the light reappeared,so I took it to a independent garage and they informed me that the fault code was PO430 - "Below threshold Bank 2", which could be the cat.
I've had the car converted on LPG and have done just over 20,000 miles since conversion. On the net,I found the probable cause to be
cat convertor
wiring
heated oxygensensor.
When I brought the car,one of the oxygen sensor needed replacing with only 43,000,which I've just found out was Bank1,sensor2 (ie post cat,cylinders1,2,3). My gut feeling would be to replace the oxygen sensor bank2,sensor2 (ie post cat, cylinders 4,5,6). There is nothing else wrong with car,it is driving fine. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
Secondly,I am informed the cat comes as part of the manifold is this true? and finally where is the best place to source the cat and oxygen sensors - although I've found oxygensensors.com in USA to be the cheapest?
Thanking you in advance.
