I use black wax on mine, so once it's been jet washed, it never looks the same !

Do you think the dealer will look at me strange if I ask them not to clean my car ?

Last time my car was 'clean' with surface dust - so they decided to do a dry clean :( not good on any car let alone black.

I might make a sign to hang on the rear view mirror or is that going to far . . .

On my IS300, they are at the bottom of the boot at either side, behind the road wheels. You might have to remove boot linings to see them IF they are there though !

Gutted I sold them ! But they were bit of an impulse buy :o)

Pop down to your local Powerflow or similar place - they tacked on a tailtrim for me over the existing tail :

Right then, I need a little more encourage ment to fit these bad boys !

They turned up yesterday, are light, solid and have TRD part stickers on them which pleased me.

Will they make turn in a little or alot better ?

Imaging the noise of finger nails on a black board, combined with James Bond cutting a hole in glass together with the noise made by cutting bathroom tiles.

That what I got this evening as a piece of grit/grinder wheel was pulled across my screen.

Not happy, but hopefully a generous application of Rain X will help as the scratch is *just* noticable.

I was wondering what, if anything, the engine cover does.

I'm guessing it keeps dirt out, but underneath, all is well protected anyway.

It is also vented around the Lexus logo.

Is there any harm in removing this completley with the mounting posts as well ?

Well, well, well ! I got a pair of intakes this morning in the post :)

I've installed one on my car, but not had enough time to give it a proper road test.

I decided to put the other on eBay.

But otherwise, might just be a pain in the butt !

On my Volvo, the electronic throttle (similar to the Lexus) didn't like the extra moisture content at all, so be aware of this also.

On the other hand, it's a nice little project.

Sounds to me like it's cutting back.

Reset the ECU again and cruise about a bit to let it settle, then gradually increase the power after 10? miles or so.
