  1. Someone just drove into the side of me, lukily enough it was quite gentle and they only really made contact with my front passenger wheel, there is slight paintwork damage but very minor. Is it possible to get the wheel repaired rather than replaced (Other party enquiring!) here are some picks of the wheel If you know of a good company that can do this in the Chatham / Bromley area of SE London then pleasde let me know, i always prefer reccomendations. Thanks for any help Ben Here is the whole wheel This is the worst area of damage
  2. that is exactly what I bought & I paid 15k minus my trade in. I have had lots off issues with rattling dash, rattling parcel shelf as well as smelly ac, been back to lexus countless times and all the problems still excist! They have now said because the car is more than 3 years old the manufacturers warrenty has expired and the used car warrenty does not cover these items. The most recent visit regarding the dash rattle ended with "we know the dashbord rattles but you will have to pay £90 to get a third partly to remove the windshield to fix it" I am now going to have a go myself, have taken the sat nav out but can't get far enough back so have accesed it through the centre speaker, i am pretty sure its the vent mounting onto the dash that is causing the noise - i will experiment with my hand in the hole whilst someone else is driving. I have managed to turn off that damn annoying seat belt noise though, I do wear my belt on the roads but i do have to move my car regually at work and it was driving me nuts with it going off when i was only driving 100'! Ben
  3. Does anyone have the technical service bulletin regarding the parcel shelf/window rattle I have the dash rattle document (attached) Thanks Ben Dash_Rattle.pdf
  4. don't worry, 60 people read this & no answers - found it in the end Grey relay clipped to upper post supporting the brake pedal ben
  5. I would like to change my indicator lamps to LED units but due to the low power draw I am getting the double flash rate, does anyone know the location of the indicator relay so i can "adjust" the current sensing ability of it. I realise i could just add load resisters to each side but that is a very messy solution,Ii far prefer to do it electronically, however I have now been searching for the blasted thing for a while and removing panels without joy, i have narrowed the search area to behind the right side of the dash in the areaof the boot/petrol release switches. I had read on other threads it could be behing the drivers kick plate but that was just a bunch of connectors It could be a white box with fuses on the bottom behind a flap but i cant see either any relays or a way of removing the unit. Please Help Thanks Ben
  6. Have had my '55 plate IS250 SE-L for a little under a week and already want to start tinkering with it, are the dials easy to remove and is there a guide available as I wouldnt mind seeing if the illumination colour can be changed. I would also like to change my indicator lamps to LED so does anyone know where the sensor is located that detects a blown lamp then increases the flash speed as that will need disabling. One more thing, is there a Haynes manual or similer available for the 250 to help with all these sort of jobs as after a quick google I came up with nothing useful Thanks for any information Ben
