Hey Scott, I had this problem a year ago also. I don't use the ashtray in the car and used it to save up my pennies...;-) That caused the problem in my car. The sensor is right beneath it. The sensor was also way too sensible, they tuned it down a bit. Pennies out of the way...problem solved. Cheers, M-tec
