  1. More info.... when the vents are on cold i get cold air out of both sides, when i want hot air and change the vents around the passenger side is always cold, if the ac is on its bloody cold!!! the front dash vent one of them is hot air the other is considerably colder. if anyone needs any more info please ask, only to willing to help give info.. just really wanna try sort this prob out!! cheers jim
  2. hey guys re posting this topic in favour of gettin fer more replys!! driver side air vents are hot and passenger vents are cold, obviously this happens when i have the heaters on hot, if i turn the a/c on it is still hot on the drivers side and bloody cold on the passenger side... please help... dreading taking it to lexus that'll be all my money gone that i've saved for the coilovers!!! cheers jim
  3. checked forum no answers on there!!! Guys there must be someone who has had this prob and got it sorted out, am i to be banished to one side hot one cold or do i have to re mortgage and take it to lexus?!

  5. i've got 18 x 8.5's on mine with et of 48 they look sweet on the car, you can run an offset like et38

Hi everyone, has anyone had a problem with the heating in an is200? i have the drivers side lovely and warm through the vents but all the passanger vents are cold air when i want it hot, same if i have the air con on driver side hot passsenger side cold. it doesnt have independant climate or anyting like that.. please guys if u've encountered this prob or can shed any light on it i'd really appreciate it cheers jim

  8. hi guys, slowly gettin the funds to mod the car, got a BIG problem.. went to put aftermarket cd player in, got the fasia etc went to plug head unit in and i need a special lead, does anyone know what audio lead i would need, as far as i'm aware the car hasnt got a built in amplifier so dont need to bypass that. I've got a long drive this weekend and really could do with some music to listen to!!! is200jim
  9. cheers for more of ya help guys appreciate it big time... i've found some new wheels that i'll prob go for although do you know of anyone having any problems with a wheel manufacture innovit?? i've heard through the grape vine that some of the skyline guys have had probs with them cracking something any of you have heard of??
  10. More info on these bloody wheels... there are a 9j which means i'll definately have to stretch some smaller tyres on them... just hope if i get them i wont have too many probs... infact will a 9j fit under the front arches??

  12. Thanks for all the info guys, really appreciate it. Although its confused me now what offset i should aim to go for? I intend to have the car lowered on coilovers and now worry that the wheels wont fit under the arches! any suggestions? I suppose best thing to do would be to fit them and have a look whether the offset will cause problems. i think they are an 8j wheel but not sure. I think i can shift the tyres now too, got a friend in EDC so he should be able to put them to good use!!!

  14. hi everyone, just bought my first lexus IS200 and loving it... got a bit of a dilema though. looking to put some 18's on it, what offset do i need to look for and what tyre width can i fit under the arches?! cheers everyone is200jim
