Err, are you saying its just developed a fault and now seems slower or are you just saying 'err this car is really slow and my bros tdci feels quicker'? A TDCi's torque is massive compared to a NA revver like the 3SGE fitted to the RS200.

Any idea of what build date the later ECU was fitted? Ive seen a couple of cars I like the look of, but dont wanna bid on them if I wont be able to get it on the road obviously! :o

OK, so I know my round cars alittle bit after playing about with S13/S14 and S15 Nissans (as well as liners and RBs) but what about these? What are their common failing? I keep reading about lower ball joints. Is that front or rear? Are they a known common problem? And what else is there to look for or make a note to check when viewing a car/driving it? Thanks in advance lads :)

For dinner and maybe a movie? ;) ONLY JOKING!!!!! Im in Essex and am looking at getting an RS200 manual. But I have NO IDEA what theyre like to drive. There are a few IS200s on the trader I intend to go look at and have a go in - just to see if I actually could live with the economics offered within the cabin etc and make sure im comfortable with the driving position etc. So. Anyone in or around ESSEX/SUFFOLK are (or anywhere nearer than the nearest car for sale to me which atm I think is Hounslow! ) Cheers in advance :)

OK, I get that it doesnt need ESVA if its over tebn years old when registering. But the Model report states for 99-05 cars. So is it a valid report or what? If I imported say a 2002 car could I use that report? Im a little confuddlededededededed :D

Well I just spoke to a trader and he said you dont need one! :s Is the ten year rule in effect or not? If I decided to import, would it have to be a June 99 on? (assumign it landed next mth)

Well, after nearly 9 years of Nissan 200sx/Silvia/Sileighty ownership, I finally sold my S15 Silvia the other day and am now looking at an ALtezza RS200 as my replacement for both the daily runner and the S15. YES I KNOW IT WILL BE SLOWER! (I hear that a lot!) But then Im fully aware that a 350bhp car is gonna be pretty hard to match up with! LOL! :D Fact is Im now (it seems) growing old and weary of all things 'fast' so want something a little bit more down to earth, but stilla little bit nippy and fun when I fancy it! So anyway. Thats me. Some of you may know who the ***** I am from the SXOC/S15OC/Driftworks etc. I used to drift my S14 until I sold that as I thought I was bored of drifting.... So I bought the S15 as Id lost the fun part of driving the S14 on the road (full on BDC/EDC car). But nah. Alas, Im just plain bored! Had a look around and there seems to be some pretty good info on the site. Youll probably see me loitering around the imports section most tho ;) CHeers! :)
