  1. Does anybody else have a problem with the side wing mirrors getting unusable when driving in wet/damp weather. Spray from the roads just seems to attack the glass on the wing mirrors, and within a couple of hours of driving you just cannot see a thing out of them for thick dirt. Any inspiration would be appreciated.
  2. Not a bad idea. Now you have me thinking. Does anybody know when the new IS 200 model is launched in the UK, I remember reading somewhere that it was to be 2004. Any more new toys added ??
  3. I was in the same postion as you friend was a couple of years back. I had a BMW 318 and wanted a change. I opted for the Lexus IS200 and never looked back since. OK, the ride may not be as quiet but the comfort is much better, and hey come on with all the toys thrown in for free what more do you want. Only problem now is that when I change my car next time, what car comes with heated seats, heated mirrors, electric seats, electric mirrors, air con + sunroof as standard items. Answer, not many. :D
  4. I recently had the same problem. The fitters of my phone kit, spoke to Lexus to see if it was possible. Whilst the answer was yes you can by cutting into the main wiring, we were then told that this will invalidate the warranty for the car. If your car is brand new, you may want to exercise caution. I decided not to do it in the end.
  5. I recently swapped by BMW 318iSE for a Lexus IS 200. Wow, what a car, love it. Knocks spots off the BMW, for comfort, drive e.t.c :D
  6. I would like to know as well. I have just received my IS200SE but the DVD seems out of date (2002). How often do they update the DVD's
