Evening all. I've had my IS200 for a while now, and love the car but fancy something quicker but I can't part with it. I've got a bit of extra dosh to spend so I was wondering if there are any companies or individuals out there that would do this sort of conversion. What I would really love is to get it up to about the 200-220 bhp region. I understand others parts of the car would need to be upgraded as well. Any advice, contacts or anything on this would be fantastic. Hope to here from you soon!

Its the casing around the breaklight thats cracked and come away. Cant repair it as a bit missing. Mars doesnt have any spares and Gatwick is a treck for me. Would rather buy one and have it delivered or pick one up a bit closer.

Its definately a one piece spoiler. There isnt a boot lid with a spoiler on top with the light, its one whole spoiler/lid that has a break light in it. It looks like a proper lexus piece, any ideas where I can get one for cheaper. Even if its after market etc. I'm not willing to pay £500+ for a lexus one.

Right, I see what you're saying. I didnt realise it was a boot lid, then a spoiler. If thats the case its the casing round the break light thats damaged. I'll need to have a closer look to see if the boot lid is damaged, I thought it was just a complete part, apologies.

Its only the bootlid thats damaged, the boot is fine. Its finding another boot lid that im having difficulty with.

I just called Lexus Guildford and for the bootlid without the lamp painted is £550. Crikey! AClex - Is that for the boot lid that the break light will fit into? Where is that from, Lexus?

Hi, Ive got a 2002 IS 200 Sport - I need to replace the rear boot lid. Its one with the rear break light. I've looked on ebay but cant find a replacement with the break light. Where's the most cost effective place to get one of these? Thanks! Glassy

Morning all, I picked up a lovely IS 200 yesterday. 2002 Silver, 18" alloys, 68,000 and in lovely condition. I paid £4600 for it which i'm happy with as its got SAT-NAV, HID's and was the best example I viewed. http://i.ebayimg.com/24/!BVd91V!B2...n1)qTTQ~~_1.JPG Few questions: 1) The cam-belt hasn't been done. What mileage should this be done? Is it around the 75k mark? How much does this typically cost? 2) I've read there is some company that mods these to 180bhp in Germany. Is there a company in the UK that can do this? If so, what does it involve and how much does it cost. Lovely car, im well chuffed. They are a bit under powered, but im sure it wont take much to sort that out. Glassy

Brilliant, thanks for that. I've been on eBay and on autotrader and there doesnt appear to be any tuned up ones. Is there a forum or a site that tend to have the tuned ones for sale? Also, how much does the tte charger kit cost? What is it, a supercharger or something?

Hi all, I am currently looking for an IS200. I have a few questions. 1 ) Is there a place to go to find modified IS200's? I have around £5000 to spend, and I wouldnt mind getting one thats already been tuned up. I dont want a chav'd up one, I would prefer it to look standard but have the turbo fitted. 200bhp on one of these would be just about right I imagine. 2 ) Where's the best place to look for the 18's that some of them have on them. There is the 6 spoke 18's and the grey multi spoke ones. I imagine they are from the IS300's? 3 ) What should I expect to get for £4000 - £5000? I imagine i's get something from 99-02 with about 40-70k on the clock. 4 )What should I look out for on these? Are they generall reliable cars, or do they have some known things to look out for. I am definately getting one of these. I drove one on Wednesday and loved it, so now its just a matter of finding one. Thanks for your help in advance! Glassy
