Hi, One of the chrome exhaust tips on my wife's SC430 has fallen off - not in the local vicinity either, unfortunately, so it's gone for good. Does anyone have any guidance for purchasing replacement tips? There's a myriad of choices on eBay etc., but not knowing much about cars, I'd really appreciate a few pointers. Many thanks, Nick

My car packed up last night - Check VSC - called road side assist this morning, following error codes retrieved: PO300 - Multi Cyl Misfire PO301 - #1 Cyl Misfire PO305 - #5 Cyl Misfire The bloke reckoned it was the coil packs - and it was hauled off to my local dealership. The car has extended warranty cover with Lexus, and has done 55k - should it be the coil packs will this be covered, as to my mind these are not 'serviceable items'? I know I haven't had confimation of this yet, but wanted to gather some information before I go in to see what the damage is... Cheers, Nick

Hi, Just purchased an 2002 SC430 for my wife, silver, excellent condition, 50k miles (making sure I checked for everything mentioned on this board beforehand, of course). Picking it up in a couple of weeks, plate transfer etc. Lovely car which I'm sure I'll be borrowing a fair bit ;) Feeling the need to upgrade mine now! Cheers, Nick

Whilst working away this week, some :tsktsk: has keyed my car - a really deep scratch in the middle of the bonnet, just above the grill. :tsktsk: Must have been the hotel's "secure" car park too... :tsktsk: Does anyone know how much it might cost to repair such damage, and if I can claim for repair on my insurance? I'm 29 - recently got an IS250 SE-L - my first car :) It's about the luxury for me, and it's not a BMW/Audi like everyone else I work with.
