Sorry, forgot to mention it's a sportcross! B) I've never seen one on the road, and will be surprised if i ever do! Nice feeling driving a car that's not common as muck!

Not too far away i guess.. just outside Rugby close to the M1. I looked at an IS300 cross just down the road from you actually (Burton Upon Trent) before buying mine... I see there's a JAE show coming up which i'd have like to gone to but can't make it this year.. damn wedding and honeymoon getting in the way! (Don't tell the missus i said that! :shutit: )

Hi all... i just picked up a 52 reg IS300 last night and i'm chuffed to bits already. It's the traditional Lexus blue with stock alloys (that need a refurb :( ) and sat nav built in which is pretty cool. Drove it home last night down the motorway, cruising at about 70 (ish!), could hear barely any road noise and stepped out after 1 1/2 hours feeling like i'd only driven for 5 mins! Had a Toyota GT4 for a while and made the crazy decision to chop that in for a diesel Focus.. which is quite possibly my worst decision yet. (Crazy ideas about fuel economy etc etc...) So thankfully got shot of the sheddy focus (which gave me chronic neck ache) and decided to give Lexus a whirl as i loved the Toyota. I'm sure i've made the right decision and hope to be able to download and digest all your experience and enjoy some smooth motoring for a while! I'll be asking some questions in due course i guess, so look forward to all your help and suggestions... So once again.. hi. Dave.
