got the lexus bus last week and everythings been fine and dandy until today had her out all day and she was fine started her up tonight and half way through ingnition she cut out and made a machine gun noise like ratatatatatatata and the lights went out tried again and just the rattataa noise came on tried again and kicked the accelerator and it eventually turned over but the revs hit the limiter n jammed n wouldnt come off! tried again and it eventually started and ran fine,, drove about and all was well but noticed the voltmeter only a little bit above the 9 while driving... and when i turn it off it just sturggles to come on again with the same noise and lights dimming as it turns over.. any suggestions? shes a y plate with 64k

Hi there i have just got my new lexus is200 se and to be honest im very very happy about it i think its an amazing car! i managed to get the car for a decent price as it is due a service soon now im hearing a sort of scraping noise every now and then coming from the front wheels... the pads are quite low is this a noise to expect for me to change them?
