sorry if i sounded confusing by saying 60k and 100 thousand miles i use the letter k to represent thousand and not kilometres my booklet says 100 thousand miles for timing belt change... no matter getting a quick check done tommorow to see how it looks and if its needing itl be an early christmas present to myself... dam belts

wots the script with these cars.... in the manual it says 100k but everyone here is saying 60k? mine is at 66k and is a 01 plate. hasnt been used much in the last two years ( 2000 miles if that ) until i got it. is this going to be an urgent thing to get done or can i wait it out a few thousand more

i took mine to local parts shop.. 45 quid later and my ipod was playing its little heart out via 88.00fm hardwired and programed into the radio with perfect sound quality. charges the ipod also.. good times

sorted lol thats a weird one witht he switch around thing... do i need to change the fuse at all? what size is the standard fuse as i dont have a diagram to tell me what fuses are what

got my hids in the post today with slimline ballasts ( credit card size ) checked the bulbs and theres little yellow dots inside the main bit of the bulb.... tried them on n nothing happened... not happy. any info. i dont remember the yellow bits on ma old hids

i suppose your right there... just like the whole come out of the supermarket and it lifts up for you instead of trying to lift it with bags in hand lol

quick reply lol mine dusnt have the spoiler as of yet but would these springs benefit it anyway ? if so where would i get them

iv noticed sometimes when i hold in the boot popper the boot only unlocks and you have to pull it up and then sometimes it slowly lifts... is this just how they are? as i expected a bit of spring action like my merc does wich would probably knock you out if your face was above the boot... anyway what can i do to make it more lively?

i got mine 2 weeks ago and very chuffed i think i must of got a bargain as i seen one in the garage for 4700 with 85k on the clock for a sport moden on a 52 then i seen a private sale for a 51 with 64 on the clock and it was an se and got the guy down to 3590 ! was ashame he had to sell all his stuff to pay for a new home.... works for me haha

i too left my mrk2 mr2 for the lexus bus lol 97 plate 2.0 gti tbar limited edition with green flip paint standard im 20 and just got the lexus and must say for my its brill... there are a few bits i am getting to grips with like 1st gear could last longer and the fuel guzzling could be toned down abit but theres many more cars to be bought as i get older so just another learning processl.. all in al its a beast

is it just me and my lex or are the is200ses quite low at the front and considerably higher at the back? i know my bmw was like that but there seems to be quite a gap at the back... theres no noise or suspension issues that i can see or hear and ride is very comfy... just a bit confuzzled

i have this issue on the passenger side... very annoying.. figured it was brake pad indicators... 70 quid later and new pads and its till bloody there

had battery checked by 3 different garages to find it was fine so theyre must be a electric fault somehwere... popped into a bus garage for the sake of it and they noticed the egg smell and voltage dropping when cranking the engine... 49 quid later and a nice battery from dingbros and im sorted... thanks again guys =)

got up this morning and tried her same ticking noise and eventually turned over... drove about a bit and turned off and the noise went away though she just struggled... tried a few more times and now she starts straight away... weird booked in at 2pm to hav a look n see wot the script is
